  1. I'd like to see a Pinnacle. Drive one everyday
  2. Got mine hooked to one of the Revell semi snap Petes. got it weathered up some and have a load of logs I trimmed from my oak tree branches. Came out good, happy with it. Good luck with yours. I'm from Akron by the way. Moved to Fla. last year
  3. The red car is a Z16 with the black trim. Silver trim is regular Malibu SS
  4. Learned to drive in a 74 Astro with a 318 and a 13 underdrive. I swear My right hand was never off the shifter. Roll into a truck stop and tell them to fill the oil and check the fuel!
  5. boat is 1/24. trailer is from the Revell Elco with bass boat from the 90's. boat fits on trailer almost perfectly. I just always loved those Mahohgany Chris Crafts. Dumas kits are actually pretty nice. All the bulkheads and keel are laser cut and as long as you glue up everything square they go together well
  6. I'm a car/truck builder who's working on a Dumas wood Chris Craft now just for a change of pace. Whole different deal but enjoying it. I've got a trailer for it but now have to decide what to use for a tow vehicle. Thinking maybe the 65 Chevelle wagon since I have one of those. Any suggestions?
  7. should be a ford fe if it came out of the 64 kit. 352, 390,427 they all were the same externally. I've had one of those kits for years but haven't built it. All that foiling! Just finished a 53 Hudson and I swear it took me 2 weeks to foil it
  8. I ended up starting at the back and working to front using epoxy and clamps.took a while but worked
  9. Was your frame warped Andre? Ended up using epoxy and clamps on mine. Broke my fuel lines too!
  10. That's a McCulloch (Paxton) blower like they used on the 57 Fords and lots of different Studebakers
  11. Beautiful Chuck. You make your rust solution the same way I do. I've found that a few drops of Future or water based poyurethane mixed in acts as a binding agent and the finish isn't quite as fragile. The future also works great for making mud for dioramas
  12. Thanks. I built the Hudson engine as a separate display piece. Too pretty to bury in car.
  13. Still working on my picture taking, lol
