  1. Oh that is nice, thanks for sharing the photo's
  2. Everything but the Liberty Walk GTR and the Diablo GT-R from Aoshima will curbside, the level of detail is better than most of the US kits at the moment, even without have a engine.
  3. And taking a look at what Platz-Nunu/Belkits had on display
  4. Taking a look at what Hasegawa had on display, we already seen the renderings in the pre show thread that my buddy Nightowl posted.
  5. It is the 11th of May in Japan, so that means it is opening day of the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2017. Up First is what Beemax Models has on display
  6. Thanks Brett, so it/was a few hundred pounds more then the current cars, I think they are in the 3300 pound range, NASCAR has been changing the weight since the COT chassis, it was 3450, went down to 3300, they added 20 pounds for this year.
  7. So you have no problem with the Chevy SS being 100% Australian but sold in the US?, or Holden, while being a part of GM, is 100% Australian
  8. Looks pretty good.
  9. Then that wouldnt be a fair comparison of old vs new , unless that is not what the point is. What is/was the weight of the Superbird ?( in NASCAR trim)
  10. I got to pleasure to see this in person earlier in April , and you think the photo's are impressive, you will be blown away seeing it in person, I was in awe, and getting the pleasure to meet Randy. I really enjoyed getting to talk with him for a short bit.
  11. No thanks, there is nothing wrong with the current system of tires in model kits, if it isnt broke, lets not fix it.
  12. And Aoshima , but bingo, I have not once had any tire issues with the rubber tires, or have had any tire issues with tire melting with any new kits from the last long long time.
  13. Speaking of Mike's Decals, Revell did seem him a one the new Ford Bodies long before the flyer was put out so he could start working on the sizing for decals, so there is a least a bit of a relationship there with Revell, does that mean he do a run of blanks?, that is something beyond my pay grade to comment on.
  14. That still doesnt answer my question, you are looking for more than a list, ok, great, but, again, what is your goal , what are you trying to accomplish ? what is the reason behind it?
  15. Very nice work
  16. Very cool
  17. The snap kits were basically toys , these are real grown up model kits, lets not fool ourselves here, Revell is not going to be doing the same production numbers on these kits as they did on the previous NASCAR kits, so that will help with not saturating the market.
  18. Calling this one done, sadly, this was the best I could do, it looks like a pile of you know what, but I feel good that I at least finished it. When getting the doors attached, the center section that holds the doors in place, while holding in it place waiting for the glue to dry, it came lose and slide across the left door and down the side, of course, leaving a trail of glue behind on the windows. I did the best I could with getting the panels to line up, but again, uphill battle with the wrapped chassis plate and not being able to get back in its 100% correct shape. Plus all the other issues. Painted with Lotus Isotope Green from Scale Finishes.
  19. Here we have Aoshima's Lamborghini Diablo GTI, I did enjoy building this one, pretty straight forward build, no issues out side of the funky door fitment , painted Lamborghini Arancio Borealis from Scale Finishes. Wheels were stripped and painted with Alclad Polished Aluminum. This was built for a model contest that HLJ held From Feb-April, and I was not allowed to post this online till after the 30th of April.
  20. I have use regular CA glue on clear parts in the past and did not get any fogging, so it is possible, but sure, take caution when always working with clear parts is a good idea. Per the info from the website
