  1. Very nice
  2. Thank you guys Progress on the chassis
  3. And the engine in what I am going to say completed phase, I am sure I could of made it look a little bit better, but lets be honest, only the very top is going to be seen.
  4. Oh yes Jim, you every right to be upset , I would be too , my last order from him took a long time before he shipped it, so I understand.
  5. All I can tell you is that the property he was renting got sold and was not given much of a notice to vacate, that is why he started the sale, so I am sure you can understand how busy he might be with working full time, trying to find a new place live, pack and then move Please understand that I am not taking his side
  6. Getting started, the engine sans the valve covers, trying to decided the correct color, seeing photos of the engine with black and engine color valve colors After some Alclad And the chassis
  7. I have Gerry, and that is to completely ignore it , on the serious note, the issues dont really bother me all that much, I can live with it, and I do feel that I would probably make it look worse, so its best to leave that to the pros.
  8. I think I have figured out what I am going to do with this one, playing around with configurator at Lamborghini website, I came up with this, I wont be using this exact shade of blue, I have some Lambo Blue Hera that I used on the Roadster, so the current idea is to use that baring I do have enough. So with that. And will be using the P/E set
  9. You know Randy, ive been wanting to start on of my FXX-K kits, but after watching you build yours, all can think of is I would just be building a toy compared to the work you are doing, my chin is on the floor.
  10. For those that are interested, here is a whats in the box look video of the kit, or if you dont wanna sit through me babbling on, here is a link for photos of the kits contents http://s1105.photobucket.com/user/irvan2836/library/Kit reviews/Aoshima Lamborghini Huracan
  11. Wow, thats some great quality control
  12. Thank you guys
  13. I cant say I agree with telling people to avoid kit, thats just plain silly , all you need to is contact Revell and they will send you a fresh new body.
  14. You got that right, I remember when I was watching the Top Gear episode when Richard "The Hampster" drove it and saying to myself, if someone does a model of it, that is going to suck trying to do the interior
  15. I got it for $40 plus a lot in shipping, the only reason why it was being sold so cheap was the seller is claiming the decals are no good, not sure how they know as they are inside one of the sealed parts bag, and look to be usable , but we know how looks can be. I still would like to get the version you have, aka stock, and there some listed, but I dont think I really want to spend close a $100 for one right this moment.
  16. Here we have the Final Edition Evo X from Aoshima , painted with Tamiya Met Red , I can assure you that in person, it is very much a gloss finish, but for whatever reason, the shiny is not getting picked up on camera.
  17. Looks good.
  18. Aoshima posted about five new photos, here a couple
  19. The AMT kits werent bad, but they werent great either, I too always preferred Monogram NASCAR kits.
  20. Cant go wrong with steelies-n-caps
  21. Pheww, I am tried, been chasing one of these kits for long time that didnt have a long OOP price to go with it.
