  1. The one pictured is the Wildtrak, the top model offered, maybe you might these Lest start with the XL model, your choice single cab, ext cab, double cab, note the smaller steel wheels and the longer bed And here is the next model up, the XLT, only comes in ext/double cab and now, the Limited, which is limited to ext and double cab
  2. Good job
  3. It seems like older kits can withstand the use of hotter paints/primers, but new kits can not, I play it safe and use plastic friendly primers.
  4. It turned out really nice, giving my Huracan some competition for the contest
  5. Very nice.
  6. Excellent work on both.
  7. I love building models, I have a blast , and believe you me, I am nothing close of being a professional , enjoying building the kit
  8. First, I was not implying anyone was a lemming for buying it, I wanted to buy it too ( so I guess I am lemming too), yes its minor , but its something that is a head scratcher and its kind of shocking that it happened again, this is not the first time that Revell has reversed modeled kit parts on their current kits. You are right, there are no perfect kits. Far as I am aware, I did not call them names, that is childish and silly. I am pretty darn sure I never implied that I think people should boycott the kit, again, that is just silly too, but people do boycott kits for silly reasons, like curbisde kits because no engine detail. If you are happy with the kit, that is great, I hope you enjoy building it, and I am still planning on getting this kit too, but the whole point of a kit review is to point out the good and the bad, and when doing that on a forum, people may comment about the bad. Sure, my comment would of gone over better if I worded it differently, I was expressing my dissatisfaction of the error that they made.
  9. With all due respect to you, buying the the kits that you want, you are in fact supporting Revell, unless you buy them via third party. I too was looking forward to this kit, and still want it, even with the brake rotor issues. Now on to a few things, one, dont tell my to stop posting my opinion, I dont do that to you, so please show me the respect in return, thanks Please show me where I stated that I dont like the kit, I dont like Revell screwing up something simple that a cave man could get it right. There is NO excuse just because they are the only company making this kit, that its ok for them to screw something up, that is utter hog wash, I expect a little bit more from them, they have clearly shown in the past that they are very capable of making good kits, its time we see that Revell again.
  10. Look at most of the replies in this thread and the other thread for this kit and you will get your answer, because people support Revell no matter what, they could put a turd in a box and people would say its the best kit ever.
  11. The photos are just artist renderings right now, only Ford knows what it is going to look like( according to Road&Track)
  12. Anyone with a Yahoo email account needs to follow the steps Yahoo has posted on securing your account, its hard to know for sure if this happened because of the hack on Yahoo, as far as I remember reading, none of the account info had been put of for sale on the dark web yet.
  13. It very well could be a clone of something, as for parts, I have no idea, I never had to get parts for it, so I just never bothered looking, but with such the low price, buying replacement parts would probably run close to what a whole new brush would cost.
  14. The trailers I think and this of course is just my opinion, they are too big for the style of trailers they are trying to be in scale.
  15. Sorry, but I have to disagree with this , cheap is not always bad, case in point, I have a Harbor Freight $20 air brush, I have had it for probably four years now, and that thing is built like a tank, I never had a problem with it, the thing is beat to heck, but guess what, it works just fine. Compare that to the Paasche VL that I bought a few years ago, less then six months of owning it, the hose broke, and that was just the start of the problems( I dont remember the other issues now), I spent more time trying to get the POJ to work then I did actually painting with it. I finally decided that I was tired of using a crappy air brush, so I bought myself a Iwata Eclipse( turns out it was 2 for 1 deal) , and guess what, less than six months, the air cap went out, so I had to send it in for service too. So its kind of said that a $20 A/B has worked better than a $60-100 and a $140 plus air brush( not that I spent $140 on my Iwata)
  16. Very nice
  17. They are decent kits, but really need a 1/24th scale tow vehicle.
  18. Its pretty clear that Round 2 doing mostly reissues is paying off for them, and at same time making some Ebay sellers cry that their nest egg just took a huge loss.
  19. That is very nice
  20. Alright, good to know
