  1. No, as of now, December is the target month for release.
  2. When it was announced, December was the month given, no price has been listed for it
  3. That is a question that I have no definite answer for, because of the on variable called life, time I spend on each model depends on that on variable. I have one that is going on close to three months now, that model should of been finished two months ago, but me taking a few couple of months to order paint for it, and now going on three weeks waiting on the paint order. I would say that if I have nothing getting in the way, and dont lose any motivation, and depending on the kit, building time for one kit is anywhere from a week to two weeks.
  4. I honestly dont know, fire dept said it was an electrical fire, I have not had a chance to look at it yet.
  5. Thanks, the upside, I dont have to replace the power steering pump now.
  6. My car catching on fire today irked me a bit, and the kick to the you know what was losing what I had just bought a Hobby Lobby topped it all off ( not in the car, at McDonalds waiting for a ride home)
  7. Nice start, curious, since me and some fellow friends are still waiting for ours from Japan, what did you pay for this kit at the LHS?
  8. I would probably do BP version too
  9. Garbage can , empty boxes they go( recycle can actually)
  10. I too use the cheap stuff thats already been posted above But, I cant use that stuff on 98% of the stuff I build( Japanese kits) its too hot , so my choice if thinner is Mr Hobby/Color thinner, both the regular and leveling thinner, good stuff .
  11. Tom, part of the problem was not with the clear, but with everything else, like the Sharpie in the panel lines, Sharpies and and lacquer do not mix. So thats one issues taken care of for you. Ive tried in the past one time to use Tamiya Smoke over windows that I use a Sharpie for the black trim(frosted area) and it ran, and that was doing very lite mist coats.
  12. One thing I am curious about, is how Ron( please note Ron, I take no offense to the photo in your sig line) was able to have the photo at the large size, I know on this current version of the forum software, max size is 150x150 I believe. Was there not a size limit on the older software version ?
  13. Oh, I was in total agreement with you if they would of done it that way.
  14. I think we all expected them to do the dually by now, anyways, you know if they added all those extra 14 parts, the price would would go up a little bit, and you know what that leads too, but that would be a heck of a kit no less.
  15. I wouldnt hold your breath, we are still waiting for Meng to follow up the F350 with a dually version
  16. Sorry, I had you beat its in the the truck kit news section
  17. Having to pay $25 for Iwata-Medea for labor to do warranty work on one of my Eclipse's that had a broken nozzle, yeah, that irked me pretty darn good. ( Yes, I did have the option to decline, than I would had to pay $6 for them to ship it back, then spend even more money buying a new needle set to do it myself)
  18. Gone as far as I can tell I get the body painted, and I am waiting on a paint order to arrive.
  19. Looks like Meng Models is bringing us a Hummer H1 civilian version , no date was listed
  20. Right, as parents, we expose are kids to all sorts of new things, and if they take interest , great, then be supportive.
  21. My daughter is exposed to the hobby, and if she wants to partake in it, great, if not, I am not going to force it on her, its up to her( of course when she gets a bit older) .
  22. I really do build for myself, yes, I post my work on model forums and Facebook, but I am not posting them so I can get the warm and fuzzy "good job" comments, I like to share what I build with other builders, and if they like what I do, than thats just letting me have my cake and ice cream too. I really dont want or need any validation for me or my models. But of course, its nice when other builders like your work, and its rewarding to get those "good job" comments.
  23. Live stream with english commentary from radio lemans http://www.radiolemans.co/2016/05/26/nurburgring-24-hours-2016/
