I believe the reissue of the Rescue Van but a dapper on that happening , as they filled in the side window opening on the tooling for the reissue. Assuming you are talking about the camper van kit. I could be also completely wrong, but that is what I recall hearing.

Honestly, you didnt make a statement by making a reasonable offer, heck, you didnt even waste his time, he wont give two you know whats and a you know what , he only cares about making the most money possible. The only way you might actually make a statement with that person is doing what Bill suggested, but I think it would work better if those few thousand people contacted him , so, at the very least, you waste a lot of his time.
