Some good points made, I was considering painting , and I might just go that route instead of waiting for the CF decals, there are couple of Lambo colors that come close to the color of the C/F is painted in.

Taking a look a newest Lambo kit from Aoshima, the Sesto Elemento , or ("Sixth Element" in English), the kit allows you to build either the prototype or the production version. Now, to accurately build this, the entire body needs to be done in carbon fiber , as the body is entirely made from carbon fiber, Scale Motor-sports is I do believe said to be doing a carbon fiber sheet for the body, and I am sure Studio 27 decals will be doing a C/F decal sheet as well.

No, not all clear coats are lacquer, there are , enamel, lacquer, acrylic ,urethane clear coats, just like the paints, its always best to use the same type of paint and clear, meaning, if you use enamel paints, use enamel clear, there are always exceptions, like you can use urethane clear over pretty much all paints. Yes, its primer, paint, clear, in that order, and no, you only want to clear coat body parts that have been painted body color , as for the interior's, no you don't want to gloss clear coat the interior, the only time interiors would have a sheen would be if you were trying to replicate leather. Now, at the same time, interiors are not completely flat either, matte or satin paints would work for interiors.

They are only that high if you buy them here, The Aventador is running at $28, the Sesto is $32, the 50thAV Aventador is at $30, the Murcielago LP670-4 SV is $32, Roadster Aventador is $32 , couple of the Countach's are at $30 , all those prices are at the current exchange rate.

I have and tried all three of the different levels of Novus and was less than impressed, but my understanding is Novus is meant to be used directly on plastic and not on paint.
