  1. Both sides are to blame , buyers and sellers.
  2. Thats a good idea, I think I will say the six new NASCAR kits I ordered today are Christmas gifts to myself, just not gonna wrap them.
  3. Its not the company, its the fact that is goes by boat is what makes it so slow
  4. Built another Featherlite-ish race car transporter, or AKA, "hauler", this one will be transporting the new NASCAR kits, anyways, this is 99% scratchbuilt, the only kit parts used are the wheels/tires from Moebius. Its finished enough for photo's, there are still a lot of little things I can do it , but for now.
  5. Just leave it out, what I would/will do when I ever get one.
  6. Better to have than not have it when you might need it.
  7. I probably pre ordered mine shortly after you did after it was clear HLJ wasnt going to be listing it anytime soon. I heard that about Tamiya and HLJ, like a lot of things, you never how much truth is behind it, but the way HLJ has been of late with Tamiya products, I am believing it. My total for one was 3600 yen with SAL, still alot better than $49 US plus tax (if applicable)
  8. I honestly thought I canceled my pre order from Hobby Search, well, I didnt and went ahead and pre ordered it from HLJ too , glad I noticed it and canceled. Well, thats odd, they seem to be getting a lot Tamiya kits a lot later than Hobby Search lately for some reason.
  9. I got my payment request from Hobby Search last night for mine.
  10. I was saying that the exchange rate is not the sole reason for the price difference.
  11. Yes, but its SAL, so its gonna take a few weeks.
  12. Tokyo Hobby has had them since at least late last week, HLJ and Hobby Search still are not showing they have gotten them yet.
  13. Thats because they are made for newer trucks , so that cant be held against the wheel/tire set , just saying No, we buy this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=002152672&I=LXDZNF&P=K
  14. Exchange rates have nothing to do with the cost of the kits here in the USA, take a look at the cost of US kits in Japan, they are almost double to what they sell for here. The prices have everything to do the cost of import/export. The kit has been officially released in Japan as of a few days ago.
  15. Well, it has too, two months is what this one took as well, and same as the one before it a few years ago.
  16. Looks like you did a pretty good job on it.
  17. I am going echo what Bill said about Jameston, we get the privilege of buying from him in person a few times a year (when he does come) ,and its a pleasure to get to talk with him in person. It was a few years and he was coming down for Desert Scale Classic, I needed some colors from him that I think he had to mix up( he wouldnt of had them on hand at the show other wise I think), anyways, he offered to hand the deliver the paints to my house once he got into town, now come on, how awesome is that. I have to add that he has always done right by me, and gone out of his way to provide top notch service , he really is a stand up guy , and a very big asset to the hobby, and the hobby is better to have him a part of it. And my last order that I placed, I ordered I think five or six bottles, one of them I ordered the color in a 1oz bottle, and you know what he did, he sent me a 2 oz bottle for the price of the 1oz bottle. As a customer, I stand behind him 100%
  18. There are still a few on Ebay that are reasonably priced
  19. Ive actually wonder this myself as well.
