  1. That is a very pretty blue, I like it, need to pick up a can
  2. I am not surprised that it cost $650 for a 2011, I dont remember what our 2007 cost, I think it was close to $300 for two years
  3. The last update on this build was over two years ago, I think its safe to say that this build might be dead
  4. Thats different , but cool, nice job I always liked hood ornaments for some reason
  5. Maricopa County (most of the Phoenix metro area) and Pima County (Tucson) are the only two countys I believe that require emissions in the state Its $27 dollars for testing, and we only have state operated testing sites, but the state contracts out to a private company for employees to work at the testing centers And our registration fees are based off the year of the car, so newer car, higher the fee For my 2001, for two years, it was $120
  6. Look whos back, nice to see you back Paul
  7. Nice job for on crappy kit
  8. Thats a nice display case Tom I take my completed builds in the back yard and drop a cinder block on them and then giggle like a little school boy
  9. Great job on the decals, looks good
  10. I think I am going to have to go with James answer, and I wish my pants were smart  So, I just did a test fit , and I was a little mistaken when I said you could take the diecast body and put it on the Lindberg chassis, you can, that part I was right about , the part I forgot was the trimming of the chassis, and even on the inside of the diecast body, Its going to take some work The wheel wells on the chassis will need to be trimmed some, and thats just the start
  11. And while Fiat is at it, make the Charger a two door like it should be
  12. 1000 HP on Mustang suspension, that does not equal out very well
  13. Of course I would I like what I like LIke I said, I would still buy this one as well, but if I had a choice, it would be the Veyron first, then the Stang I do see that I was wrong with the top speed, I should of figured that this one would go a little faster then 202mph
  14. Finally, after paying for this on the 28th of Feb, its here, well, a second one, the first one never showed up, and this was a sealed kit, but my daughter decied to rip the the plastic off before I could a pic of it
  15. Rob, I could not agree with that anymore then I already do. I still want to know what Revell/AMT/Moiebus plans are when the AARP crowd is gone and no longer buying their at that point 60-90 year old subjects, then what?, hope that the youger crowd is still around that they have been alienating all these years?
  16. I would take a Veyron over this any day of the week, yes it has HP close to the Veyron, but its not as fast, going by the written words, it tops out a 202, thats sad, and its still going to drive like a Mustang, so nothing great there either. Not saying I wouldnt buy one, because I could see myself buying one
  17. Same here on a few things, I am still not liking the new layout, but I am getting use to it, my two biggest complaints on the new layout is that its not as easy to get to the image links, and if you forgot to select an album before uploading, and you upload more then a few photos, how much a pain it is to have to go into to each photo and move them one at a time. I tell you this, I am remembering to make sure I upload photos to the right album And as of last night, all my albums are still there, sorry, I know its no help to you
  18. I was thinking that myself, and I dont see why not, both are 1/24th scale, so it might work Up first is the completed I think for the most part chassis, I am going to do the wheels in Alclad I think, or maybe something a little bit darker And starting on the interior tube, what a pain to mask and paint, I did black first, then the aluminum, I think I should of done vise versa And how about some color, Tamyia TS-17 And I need to attach the P/E screens to them before I can attach them to body
  19. Already a thread posted about it here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=72865 Rob, I dont know, thats really not that far away really, I think 2020 or later is better, cuz well all, If it aint from the 50s, Revell wont want to kit it
  20. I do like it I would say 10-30 years from now
  21. James, I did test fit with a Lindberg chassis to the 2011 diecast charger body, and if I remember, it fits , so you could , kit bash the Lindberg dirty parts with the diecast body, I am sure it would take some work though to make work
