No plans for opening doors on this, I am probably going to another one, and that one I would like to open up the doors That is very true, and thankful for that as well , I have had my fill of body work for a little bit -

Aoshima finally got this one released, it had a released date of Nov of last year, but kept getting pushed back, it is a concept STI version of the BRZ, the kit tooling is the same as the stock version/wheel option 86/BRZ kits, with a few additional new bits, they include the lower front splitter, a different trunk spoiler, and carbon hood/roof decals. You get both LHD/RHD dash options, and can build for US/EU/Japan versions.

Over all, this is not the a great kit, its full of sink marks, the fit of the parts is not that great, but thats what you get from gets that are from tooling as old as this is from. Got a little bit more done, started working getting the ridge done on the rear, using .15 sheet stock and some putty and started working on the interior , using another piece of .15 sheet stock to cover the ribs on the floor and did the same at the rear, and for the front part, last minute idea, I covered the floor with masking tape, then painted it, it gives the floor a little bit of texture and here is what the interior looks like now, still have clean up to do, but this is it for the detail, as you really wont be able to see this once the interior is in the body and here is a mock up with the back up plan mast in place and it fully erect -
Got this yesterday from fellow club member and friend, its a loaner, I have to replace the trailer at a later date

Why aren't all model kits awesome?
martinfan5 replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Not taking any sides here, I would have to go back and read 11 pages to figure out what really is being said, but I think one thing, well two things that are being forgotten is this. One, model kits are made for the masses, not for the die hard, rivet counters if you will(I do not mean rivet counter in a bad way) the guys that know vehicles inside and out, or the guys that want perfection in their model kits , (not saying anything is wrong with that). Two, the members here dont make up a even half of the model company's customers , so no one here can speak for all the people out there that are buying model kits that dont spend time on model forums and if they care about if the model kits are perfect in every way So if the masses that are buying the kits dont care if the subjects are 100% perfect, then I dont think the model company's will either, and a handful of guys on a model forum are not going to change anything. If I am wrong, well then I am wrong. Just pointing this out, you can bash me now if you must -
