  4. You can buy both from Tower Hobbies for a total of $99.98, and if you time it right, you can use a free shipping code if you get the emails for them.
  5. Rick, I am not a vanspert , but I can tell the wheel base on this kit is correct, its a SWB( short wheel base ) version. That is the one thing stopping me from buying this kit, I dont like SWB vans, not to many commercial vans are SWB
  6. Its your build, your call, simple as that Its a part of modeling to have builds not go as we want them, when that happens to me, which is almost every build, I just keep on trucking and get it finished and try to learn from the problems to make them not happen or how to over them on the next build
  7. The chassis is almost done and here is the engine detail and started working on the interior
  8. Hollywood Jim is member of the model club that I am member at, and Septembers club meeting is at his house, so I am sure I might get to see this build there if he still has it. When he brings builds for the monthly club theme, its a pretty sure bet that is going to take first place, he really is a very creative builder
  9. Very nice, what tires/wheels did you use?
  10. Working on the chassis and getting it painted
  11. Dave, thanks for the update, the Prostar is looking very nice, cant wait for this one

  13. You did a good job Marty, and the club decals are really cool
  14. Getting some work done on this, here is what I have done This the top bottom half of the engine and front wheel well piece and this is the top part of the engine detail
  15. So it appears that I got the chassis wrong, I found a pic of the bottom of a completed one ( guessing by Tamiya) and the chassis is a mix of body color and black
  16. Even if its showing its age, nice job on it
  17. Getting some paint on the body, I am using Model Master Chrysler yellow lacquer, it has a few mist coats , waiting for the Humidity to drop and waiting to see if its going to rain again before I do the wet coats and the chassis
  18. looking good
  19. I have done a lot of business with Model Express,I have not done business with Model roundup yet

  21. Here is Kurt Busch Nationwide ride, I used stoneys custom decals, and a lot of bondo
  22. Here Danica's NationWide ride, this is what you get when you take one part AMT NASCAR COT kit, one part bondo, one part decals, one part paint and put into the blender I used Tamiya Light green
  23. Here is Fujimi's Subaru Impreza WRX STI kit, its OOB, this was one of those builds that I just had bad luck with, everything could that could go wrong, did. Its painted with Model Master Italian red, cleared with Dupicolor clear. I tried to tint the windows using Tamiya smoke clear. If you look closely at the steering wheel column, you will see the P/E ignition key and key pad
  24. You are correct, one of their wharehouse's is in Reno, so for us that live in states near NV, we get our orders really fast
