  1. Tomorrow, tomorrow. There's always tomorrow.
  2. I was very, VERY lucky in that I was granted permission to bring home the Moebius International LoneStar kit that was on display at NNL East. Over the next week or so, I'll show you what's in the box. John
  3. #4 is Dennis Krahn of Model Express Mine's signed by him as that's who I bought it from.
  4. Any of them MCM Ts coming to NNL East? They were sold out by the time I got to the stand last year.
  5. If you know the right person, you might see it at NNL East.
  6. You sure it isn't Dell's (Paone)?
  7. Scale Finishes www.scalefinishes.com
  8. Now he's rubbing it in. I don't see it with a black cap. Fire trucks are supposed to be 100% red.
  9. Looks to be April 16/2011 from the Town Newburgh Model Car Club website.
  10. What you need to do is find someone in the US who is willing to order the paint and then ship it to you. That being said, you may still not get it as Jameston's reason for not shipping outside of the US is probably due to the fact that most national postal systems don't look kindly upon paint. For example: Canada Post doesn't do paint of any kind period. I have no idea if the British Postal system is similar. Also be prepared to possibly pay hefty import duties and taxes upon it's arrival. Another thought would be to contact Jameston@SCale Finishes and see if he'll share the code for it with you. Then that code can be taken to your local auto paint supply shop so that they can custom mix it for you. I'd check to see IF they can do this before I emailed Jameston. I'm the modeler responsible for asking Jameston if he could mix Carlisle Blue and it took him a few days to get the proper code. Just my two cents on the subject.
  11. This is for a certain '70 Dodge Coronet SuperBee painted B4 (or is it B5 blue) featured in Muscle Car Review not too long ago. Imagine if you will, this car (Furious Fushia which is available from Jameston @ Scale Finishes) With this hood stripe. Dodge doesn't but it was so tempting that I couldn't resist. All available from Keith Marks.
  12. The Model Car Garage offers the proper heavy truck style hinges that you're looking for.
  13. www.scalefinishes.com IF it's not listed, drop Jameston an email and he'll do his best to get it for you.
  14. What more needs to be said? I've been asked to photograph a local model show and see if a magazine would be interested in including said pics. in their contest coverage.
  15. the thread on the Western Star truck with the kitbashed and scratchbuilt logging trailer? IIRC, I saw it either Sunday or Monday night and I wanted to print it out for reference but couldn't at the time so I figured that I'd come back when I had the time and now I can't find it.
  16. Fix it and cast it! I could use at least one of those.
  17. Ya see, I hadn't put 2 and 2 together. I know of someone who's using your Ward cab to build Engine 51 and I got to thinking that it would be cool to surprise him with a Squad 51. If you're going to cast it though, that would save me lots and lots of work and I'll buy one.
  18. Cool! Would you care to share the dimensions? That's all that's stopping me from building THE Squad 51. FYI, you can get the proper shade of red from Scale Finishes.
  19. Squadron (IIRC) sells pointed sanding sticks. Just a thought.
  20. That's Carlisle Blue as offered by Scale Finishes.
  21. So what do you say guys? Is this Carlisle Blue or what?
  22. For what it's worth, the LAFD has(had?) a wrecker but aside from it being a Western Star, the kit isn't even close.
