I finished this one about three weeks ago and I can truthfully say that it was the easiest build I ever had of a Revell of Germany car kit.
Paint is Tur De France Blu with a Rosso interior, both from Scale Finishes.
I made one small modification to the kit and that was to lower the ride height at the front end.
Not only am I staying over Saturday night but I'll be at the host hotel Friday night too.
Why? Because I'm driving something like 7 hours each way to be there.
The Calypso Coral is from MCW and the Twister Special decals are from Keith Marks.
I still need to black out the exhaust tips.
The decals gave me a bit of a hard time. More my doing than Keith's.
Bonus pics.! '70 Torino GT along side the Twister Special. Grabber Orange or Calypso Coral.
She's painted '05 Chevy Corvette Electron Blue with Tamiya sprays aluminium for the blades. A coat of Testors One Coat Wet Look Lacquer Clear tops it off.
It's a typical RoG car kit in that it's fiddly and I could have gotten better results If I'd been willing to put in more time.
Thank you and I agree. I could probably buy 12 of the kit and do each one differently.
My next one will be a vintage police/police chief's car equipped as a 2dr sedan (as opposed to a utility sedan) and probably with the fuelie option.
