  1. I once saw some broken chunks of granite counter top laying in the center of the Freeway! About 3 miles later I passed the guy hauling the rest of the counter to the job site. He didn't appear to know that about a third of it was broken off and laying on the highway. Ooops.
  2. Esci also did the BMW M1 and several others in clear, possibly the 320 Gr. 5 and the Lancia. Didn't AMT have a clear hood on the 37 Chevy? I was talking to Jim Keeler once, he mentioned that one evening at Revell they ran about a dozen Mickey Thompson Challengers in clear! Imagine finding one of those now! I asked - he didn't have any of them.
  3. ^^^^^ Yes. It is very easy to do and those are simple shapes. I think you would find it easier and cheaper than trashing another kit in an effort to make something else fit.
  4. I have heard them called "Necker's knobs".
  5. Revell California Roller VW panel truck. It was still green after 2 coats of primer!!!
  6. Silly to an extreme! What's next? Virtual breathing?
  7. Reminds me of Madeline Kahn in Blazing Saddles, " The feeling is MOO-TWUL!"
  8. I would not hold my breath for anything to happen. It was a cool car and the golden memeories are just that - memories. It sounds like Mr. Scott is wistful for better times.
  9. UPS, FedEx and any other outfits offering package delivery would go bankrupt instantly if they were required to deliver a letter anywhere in the United states for 45 cents! I have had consistently excellent results with the USPS and nothing but hassles with UPS and Fedex.
  10. Wing and a propeller and it isn't an airplane! Front drive! No wing but it is the same meme. Rear drive.
  11. Friday as I was leaving work I saw this in the parking lot. It belongs to one of the design engineers in the automation group. He enjoys the retro technology. It does have tubular hydraulic shocks on it. It's a very nice driver and not a concours car.
  12. I always thought the wings were for taller guys pushing the cars when they broke down. Some of them look like handles on shopping carts.
  13. I won't be vending - just having fun!! I will bring a Model T care package for Mister NNL however.
  14. My first car had chrome reverse wheels with baby moons - 63 Riviera.
  15. The hot set-up was air-shocks with those shackles!
  16. Last Saturday on a bicycle ride I was stopped at a light waiting to cross a busy state highway and a line-up of cars was waiting to turn left off the highway. It included 2 Lambos, 1 Ferrari, 1 911, 2 Vipers, a late model Vette and some poor schmoe at the back of the line with a 90s Camaro! I have no clue what they were up to but it was in a wealthy area of town.
  17. The picture with the tail section off looks like a pickup truck. Light Commercial class at GSL?
  18. There have been several done in resin that are quite serviceable. It would be a no-brainer for Round Two to tool a body to go with the touring kit. I hardly buy any kits but I would certainly buy one of those.
  19. Except for the small block Chevy motor!
  20. On my way home from a friends house I saw a 67 camaro convertible, nicely resto-modded, and a stock 64 Ford Galaxie convertible.
