Mike, I went to 3 parts stores last year and could not Mopar Turquoise Engine Enamel so I bought some Model Master Chrysler blue. The original color must be hard to find..

Tamiya white primer is a great primer and would look good and not darken the white paint. I have used it with Rustoleum paint..
