  1. This should go in the Real or Model section. Nice work on my favorite year Corvette.
  2. Looks like a Q-ship to me. I bet you didn't downgrade the engine did you.
  3. I always liked those. Wheel choice is good. and stance. Keep going!
  4. Years ago one of the car mags built a former Dodge police car for a Cannonball type race. They painted it midnight blue and put some killer lights on the front. The idea was it looked like an unmarked cruiser. You could build a low profile supercharged 440 and put some stealth ground effects under it.
  5. Don't think the wife would let me go to Hawaii without her, and I doubt I could take her to Hawaii just to attend a model show. But it is on a weekend so I wouldn't miss work...
  6. Well done. Good wheel choice.
  7. Found a nice brochure with an L700 image and stats. The kit scales to 89 inch WB. I had a small car with the same wheel base! I'm thinking of changing the engine to a slant 6 and building a feed spreader and nerf bars to protect the livestock.
  8. Haven't quite got the subject nailed yet, but this will be the condition.
  9. I was thinking about replacing panels on my truck with fiberglass divot panels. Don't drive highway much but if I did, it might be worth looking into. Thought the method of cutting divots was ingenious.
  10. Thread drift? Only at those other sites.
  11. When you build an engine for it, be sure it's a Pontiac! I intend to use that International engine in hoodless street rod. The valve cover script will turn some heads.
  12. I skim over all the new posts every time I come on the site, reguardless of the 'room' they are in. If a topic looks interesting I click on it. What happens next is inside my head, I like pictures, I like good build quality, I like interesting subject matter. Even if I like what I see posted, I may not reply if I have nothing of interest to say. Sometimes I don't reply if a handfull of people have said 'good job' and I agree but don't feel I need to say Me Too. I hope you continue to post your work here, you never know who you might inspire. Really, you may never know.
  13. Beautiful car. The fourth picture down is my favorite. That front suspension is wicked! Nice work to both of you!
  14. If you're happy with it that is the important thing. Nice work on the paint and decals. Once you get it done, look for an old Monogram stock car from the late 80's. They are plentiful at the swap meets for cheap prices and some bodystyles would lend themselves to creating a COT with some cutting and filling. This Olds is one I found in my stores, but it seems there was a T-Bird,later 90's, that might work too. See what you can find.
  15. Thanks, it's jcwarkentin@msn.com
  16. I like your bed, It looks much better shortened up. The visor is awsome too, espcially the radius at the ends. Somewhere I've got a 29 closed cab p/u half built...
  17. Jairus, read the signature box.
  18. Trying to do something with the AMT Louisville Hoopy kit 6460 My kit came with 2 copies of the outer page and not the inside. I'm missing steps 10 through 19; Cab, Box, Liftgate If someone could scan the inner sheet and post it here or send a printable copy to my Email I would appreciate it. Thanks jcwarkentin@msn.com
  19. I can almost smell the un-catalyzed exhaust.
  20. Very cool subject. The history alone makes it worth building, but it looks goosd too!
  21. Nice build, Rodney. Is that truck still around, I haven't seen it in years.
  22. You could do a stop motion version of ' The Italian Job'
  23. Congradulations! Not only are you better off, you can take full credit for it as well!
  24. Recirculate the headers into the intake.
