I don't have Facebook, don't know what his profile or whatever looks like. He is from PA, not far from Ron at RMR

I haven't talked to him for awhile, I know he had some health issues some time back. Check for him on Facebook, easiest way to get a hold of him.

Most or all packages have a free amount of insurance. I am not putting it on my customer, but the Postal Service. And my customers have gotten results after referring them to the Post Office. If packed properly, it's up to them to deliver a package without damage.

I've received my share of damaged packages, some due to horrible packing, others due to postal mishandling. But as a seller, it irritates me when a buyer contacts me to complain about a damaged package, that has obviously been crushed or damaged in transit. That is on the Postal Service!! Contact them, and they will take care of it.

Finally got some progress to show. Chassis at pre-assembly stage, headers, oil filters, and some resin work.

Not too bad to do, I have a tool from my slot car fabricating days that let's me bend them easily. Just getting in the groove of using it, material tolerances, movement, etc. Yes, that's shrink tubing. Thanks for looking!!

Haven't had a lot of time at the bench, plus everything is tedious right now. Enlarged trani tunnels, made trani mounts and brackets, also some body sculpting. Forgot I got the cross member cut out and front frame rails revamped.

Curious, if a coat of clear over the primer would help? -
Ok, I've been wanting to finish this anyway, and now since Fat Brian is doing the Deceptacon Mustang...I will try to finish the Bumblebee Camaro.

Oh, now that sounds interesting! -
I know, what's the sense of having a stash if you can't get to them! But this build has pushed my building skills to higher levels.

Thanks, it just stinks because these are commission builds, that I have to give them up when they are done. At least I made one show with the first one, hope to get these done in time also.

Automotive acrylic enamel???
64SS350 replied to 2zwudz's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Didn't take it personally...just know that some guys are super anal about scale and correctiveness to matching 1:1. And didn't think about the price breakdown per gallon as pointed out, that's definitely good money! -

Automotive acrylic enamel???
64SS350 replied to 2zwudz's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Granted the metallic is "not to scale" if you will, but I can get 4oz. of color (even straight colors) for as much as 1 small bottle from the other guys. -
