  1. Went on vacation this past week, stopped at a few HL stores and a hobby shop near St. Louis. Picked up the Land Rover, some clearance kits, and a few supplies
  2. On his website, touch or click on left most white dot, then go to FAQ, then scroll down to email address. Also on Facebook
  3. Meng also makes some nice ones. Well, there you go...!
  4. I used round stock and drilled the center. Used liquid glue, let set and then coated with thin CA
  5. Here are the interiors minus steering wheels and harnesses.
  6. Not sure how the Tamiya handles it, but with regular putty, I will put a light coat of THIN CA glue to seal the area. Then sand with fine sandpaper.
  7. My experience with the putty was not a good one. I was trying to level a large area, and it kept sinking to the point it kept bowing the styrene underneath. Carefully check after primer to make sure it doesn't sink. ( Mine actually sunk before any primer). Maybe it's me, see what others think. Good luck!
  8. No quarantine for me.... working 58 hrs a week since it all started. Getting back into it, smoothing interiors and front clips, constructing firewalls, roll cages.
  9. Got the new 67 Impala 4door, and a 59 El Camino for future projects
  10. I have been trying to locate one of those for several years now. Nice find!
  11. It came from eBay, sold as OOP Modelhaus, it looks awesome! There was two left, after I bought mine, the other didn't last long.
  12. Got several resins over past couple weeks...'59 Impala wagons, 4dr, 2dr, Brookwood, SD, 61 Impala wagon, 49 Ford wagon and SD, 69/70 Dodge PU, retro camper, plus a few others. Also got these yesterday, thanks USPS!?
  13. Haven't gotten a lot done, tedious body work. Thinning body, front clips, firewalls.
  14. Forgot to post these, got them about 2weeks ago.
  15. Bid on this '59 Impala wagon, now to find a '59 Elli chassis!
  16. Finishing shock installation and got rubber mounted.
  17. After checking out this post, I decided to look into what I want to do for mine. Found these in my for sale pile, same height as original tires. Just need spinners... maybe.
  18. After another member posted about wheel choices for his Astro 1, I decided to look at different options for mine. This is a set I found in my for sale pile, I really like these, tires are same height as original.
  19. Some progress... engine details, shocks, and magnetos. Also added u-bolts to the front springs
  20. I used a piece of brass flat stock a bit wider than the styrene I wanted to shape. Cut the profile into the brass, as wide as the styrene stock I used which acts as a guide to keep the profile consistent. It worked well for me, it is a profiled scraper.
  21. Can you supply a link to his listings and a name he lists under?
