Picked this 1/16 scale Cobra and 917K. Didn't need another 917K,but it was only $10!. The MCW paint is Bare Metal(also dull alum. maybe). Mike was setup across from me with a large display of his paints and some nice resin pieces. Has a lot of enamel colors ready to go! Hard not to buy a bunch... luckily he's close for me.

I don't know why,but I know it happened to me. I placed an order with a cosplay business, and couldn't receive information or a digital purchase. They stated they have problems sending items/emails to that provider. I have ATT and Yahoo, don't remember which one was the problem for them.

Yes, I talked with him.

Yes he is still open, I spoke with him about 3 weeks ago. I have seen/heard others that stated the same, but I have asked him about some of them, he states he didn't get them. Maybe there is an issue with certain email providers??

Had a good time at the Buckeye Scale model show Saturday! Found a few things, had to restrain from spending more than I made. But this is the main find...

Bulk Squadron Premium Sanding sticks

I would also recommend places like Walmart, Amazon, or online beauty supplies. I found some at Walmart, 3/16"x 3/4"x 6" long, a few different grits, stiff, but cushioned core, with the nail files. -
Though I'm not a Rivi fan, I have to say that looks very nice! Well done! I think it's the color, normally see them in dark colors.

Right!? I purchased a 1/24 scale, and yes the detail is awesome! I hope some of these guys doing this will consider 1/25 scale also.

I know, I'm having the same problem with BSR3D, I was in contact with him about an order, after he replied, I placed the order within hrs. That was mid/late January, no product, no response to two emails. I mean, USCP (in Ukraine) posted the same day a message on Facebook and his website that the country was attacked in the morning, with his apologies and his hopes to get back at it as soon as he is able. Hopefully these individuals are ok and reply as soon as they can.

I don't think they came with an engine in the kit. I need to find some instructions, I have to rebuild the hinge area.
-
Yep, noticed that while I was working on it, had to laugh a bit. I'm sure it was probably a kid's build. I have a different wheel and tire package for it set aside.

Going to work on this here and there. I like to work on a couple projects at once. Got everything disassembled, not too much breakage, but will need lots of sanding to remove old glue. Anyone have extra parts, LMK.

Had several areas where the paint reacted with something, not sure what. So back to the drawing board and into the purple pond.

Let's hear how you all decide what to build next. Some kind of list? Newest kit out? Whatever peaks your interest? After building the three Flintstone Flyer cars, and looking at how much stuff I acquired,I decided to narrow down my stash and make a catagorical list to choose from. I want to concentrate my builds, instead of commission builds. My list goes like this... Resin Restoration Custom New or box stock Lemans or GT type car Molding/casting Restart old build I will always have two or three going, but I needed some organization to it. Let's here how you do it!

I am not familiar with the do's and don'ts of promo cars. I have this Rambler ambulance with multiple tries apparently at gluing on the emergency light. Can this be sanded and polished? Other ideas? Would applying BMF hurt the value? Best source for tires, some are kinda chopped up. Thanks, Karl
