I am a model hoarder with good intentions. I have to many unbuilt kits to count. The last time I did which was almost 2 years ago I was
in above 1000 kits and I have bought many more since then. I don't brag about how many kits I have because it is a little embarassing
to admit it to others. At the rate I build them I will never be able to finish them all but I just know if I get rid of 1 or more I'll get the urge to
build the one I let get away and start the search to find a new one.
For now I am just trying to cut down on the buying and get building.
This is an all to familiar story with us modellers. I cannot believe they haven't had a Hoarders episode with one of one there.
Very nice job.
I had always hoped they would come out with more kits in this generation of GMs.
As mentioned earlier the interior just pops on your car.
The hobby shop I go to has a shrink wrapper. They use it to shrink wrap model like Airfix and Revell of Germany that don't come shrink wrapped. They found these type of kits opened and either parts or the entire contents of the boxes had been removed.
There is a saying I haven't heard in many years.
I wonder when Revell will release the California Wheels version of the Tata. Now that would be bodacious!
Sorry to hear about all this Richard. $17,000 sure is a lot of money to come up with in an emergency like this.
I am sure once all this mess is over you'll get back to your day to day life including modelling.
Darn, I was going to hold off buying this kit for a little while but after seeing your engine I just ordered 2.
Gee thanks,
By the way, it looks great in the 32. I also like where you are going with the chop job.
You have my vote for John as one of the best modellers I have ever seen. There are so many builders to mention but let's not forget Rommel as well. I like the Docs idea of a modeller of the month.
I love the car and love how well this model came out. Great job.
I do this kind of thing all of the time. Summer is the best time for me to paint so I often paint several kits so I can complete them in the winter months. I do however forget which ones I have done and through the shuffle of finished and started kits I loose track. Every once in a while I will discover a started kit that I have totally forgotten about.
Mine never seem to look as good as yours though.
