Thank you very much for your comments! Glad you like the result, i am very happy with it. I took the old Revell Kit (#7202): Good choice and fits very good - i had no big Problems to build it. fits perfect, a lot of Details. liked it so, that i bought the open one (SLR Mille Miglia Revell #7204) Thanks again!

How much have you spent on a build?
Dominik replied to Jantrix's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hmmm...if i will build a model not out of the box, i have to pay more than 25$ for one - without paint, glue or anything else, what's on the workbench. to remember: builing a racecar (BMW M1 for example) with another Sponsor (BASF for example), you have to by decals for 25$...perhaps some other wheels, photoetch part etc. But thats "our" Hobby, if you will build it authentic correct. my opinion. as i am right, my "expensiv" model "ever" (i don't write it down, just have my own $-Limit per month) was this VW Caddy: Basic Kit 25$, Transkit from C1-Models about 55$, Wheels, engine, seats and other parts from Clearly Scale about 50$ without s&h from USA. But: it is unique and (f.m.o.) the result awesome . What is not listed are all the paints for weathering that i've ordered to try on this built. -
hurry up buddies Thanks Rob! looking forward for better modeling time to come

very nice colors! like it, well done! But with the softtop it looks terrible

You nailed it!

huh - this engine looks hot! Good work here everybody - but it makes me sad, that some pictures are gone I made some progress (had a run) on my Chaser-V8. After the chassis and enginebay fits "perfekt" - easier than i thought - i had tocut the interieur about 3mm Made a frontwall to the enginebay... ...and tested the fitting again: Now, the paintjob can come up. First i glued the interieur on the chassis and panted all flat black (no big deal), painted some little details, some light used look on the interieur: Big hole i have to close after i complete the seat and console: "white carpets" for a test: Thats it till now. @Rob: would you please take my second entry to the starting list?
