  6. Mattias, the kit is well done. over all it fits good. the frame in the front is easy to build, on the rear, i had problems with that "X-cross" up on the gastank and i had some problems there with the rear axle too - especially the brakedrums. they used really thin parts for the frame. one i can remember are the headlights. they wont fit (are to large). so i used photoetched lenses. the clear part were no problems. the last ones are the pipes out of the fender. i drilled them out because the sprue is on a bad place you cant over see it. all in all it was a very nice kit to built. i liked it.
  7. Thank you!

    BMW 507

To complete the trio after my Jag and SLR, another one from the same kit-decade. BMW 507 - Revell 7200 It is not specially built after they found Elvis old BMW, no, it was in the startline with the old Revell kits and my wish to buildt some cars out of the mainstream. I've built it also straight out of the box, used the first issue of the kit (molded in white) and made no changes. Only the decals were to old to fit. New ones i got later but till yet missed them to get in place. shame on me. Sprayed out of the rattlecan inside and outside - "nothing special". It looks very nice in my view. Had no problems with the built. It is not bad as i thought, made fun. Pictures, here we go: thank you for your attention. comments welcome as always

  17. very nice and clean! only the headlights look like the "t" is sad
  18. Another old one from beginning of this year Jaguar XK 120 - Revell 07363 As i'm on the trip of Cars from yesturday and old Revell kits, it was always a "must-have-built-in-my-collection". I saw it painted and almost completed on the workbench of a good friend and changed my new kid with him. I had to finish it, make some details and painted the whitewalls. also i mounted the rear fenderskirts - i like it more than open wheelhouses. it gives him a smooth look. Here it is: Thank you for attention, comments welcome as always
  19. thank you!
  20. Another built from this year i will show you Mercedes 300 SLR Mille Miglia - Revell 7204 after i built my cannonballer (Uhlenhaut Coupe in 2017) i was pleased with this kit. "it isn't that bad, as they said"...so i crabbed it and built it right out of the box. i changed only the color of the interieur from blue to red because in my view it plays better with the red starting numbers. here we go. thank you for attention, comments welcome as always.
