I use my IPad often to surf this forum. My pc to upload pictures because I havent worked out how to do it from my IPad, yet. Tomorrow I am getting a new phone and will naturally try that as well. Next tech purchase will be a MacBook something or other as I have started developing apps.

Simply stunning. Can I ask why you chose to scratch build and then folow through and finish. At any point did you think of giving up? I ask because I am constantly amazed by people's talent, skills and creativity, but I often wonder about the 'drive' behind it. Thanks.

Kit prices here, suck. Really loved our last trip and using hobby lobby vouchers to grab kits for 12 bucks or so.

I did go to their website and you can get it here, but not so much locally. I went to Bunnings anyway and purchased a can of white knight, satin black enamel spray. Tried it when I got home, didn't melt the spruce, didn't rub off. So I painted some parts for the firebird and it seems to work great, I could even paint some acrylic detailing over the top. Next experiment is to try some Tamiya rattle can on it. And it only cost 8 for the can.
