  1. Fantastic. Nice to see some Aussie models.
  2. Thank you. Taken at the Wig Wam Hotel, Holbrook, Arizona. Spent a lovely hour or so in their carpark, snapping away.
  3. and for something different. Rocket sculpture outside the Ferry Building, San Francisco. I'll have a dig and post some more later, if people want.

  5. And same parking lot: Inside: Another outside view: Dr cranky, you should enjoy those three.

  8. My TIm Flock Hudson Hornet Was waiting on my doorstep, when I got home today.
  9. I use my IPad often to surf this forum. My pc to upload pictures because I havent worked out how to do it from my IPad, yet. Tomorrow I am getting a new phone and will naturally try that as well. Next tech purchase will be a MacBook something or other as I have started developing apps.
  10. Simply stunning. Can I ask why you chose to scratch build and then folow through and finish. At any point did you think of giving up? I ask because I am constantly amazed by people's talent, skills and creativity, but I often wonder about the 'drive' behind it. Thanks.
  11. Kit prices here, suck. Really loved our last trip and using hobby lobby vouchers to grab kits for 12 bucks or so.
  12. Thank you got that tip. I'll have to grab it out of the cupboard and try again.
  13. The brain that changes itself. A fantastic read that goes through latest research relating to brain plasticity, how it can rewire itself after injury. Other than that lots of digital photography books, Tom Ang is a favourite.
  14. Fantastic build. You must be very patient.
  15. Awesome build. Quick question, did you use decal solution on the decals for the tyres? I did and the decals didn't stick.
  16. Beautiful build. I love the rally cars and have two on the go at the moment, with another couple in my stash...
  17. Excellent video, thanks for sharing. This site has lots of tips as well http://www.tabletopstudio.com/
  18. I did go to their website and you can get it here, but not so much locally. I went to Bunnings anyway and purchased a can of white knight, satin black enamel spray. Tried it when I got home, didn't melt the spruce, didn't rub off. So I painted some parts for the firebird and it seems to work great, I could even paint some acrylic detailing over the top. Next experiment is to try some Tamiya rattle can on it. And it only cost 8 for the can.
