  1. Yo Mike-O, WE'S ROLLIN big time! See I told ya's it was real!!!! Look under the rear quarter, you can just barely make out the leaf spring behind the tire. If it's a model that spring woulda had to been Photo Etched! . Plus the drille was just tooo real lookin ta me.
  2. Kev, Like Mark said, it IS your decision, but hey, some butthead called ME out just caz he doesn't like me. Heck, I haven't even POSTED ANY MODELS for him to slam, he waz just slammin ME. I ain't goin no where. Just put on a new attitude(wif respek to da POINTER SISTERS!) an do your thing. Who cares if someone critiques your builds, you DID build them for YOU din'tcha? Not everyone you meet in life is gonna like you, but ya jus gotta keep on truckin, that's just life Bro, ya gotta learn ta deal with it. NO big deal.
  3. Welp, Kahuna, Iz Dat Time againz!!! You NOT gom letta lil snow stop yaz iz yaz??? I aredy dun fired up BIG RED an cleand 5 houses on my block! Once Ol Red getz ta blowin it's like a crack Ho up on Chene!!! Jus cain't stop! Sooooo, wat it gon beeez like Kahuna??? RoM? Ya gotta pack 'O RoM junlies jus awaitin on ya!!! (Oh, I trust you slept well. )
  4. Doug you gotta use epoxy or superglue with that Distributor. I'dc use epoxy myself, caz superglue'll probly haze the aliminum parts1 apply the epoxy with a toothpick, that way it won't make such a mess. use it sparingly. Take your time an I think you'll be ok!
  5. Hey Doug, that'll work. Do you remember who made it?
  6. Doug, What kind, and WHO made it? there are quite a few different "assemble yourself" distrubutors out there. Could you post a pic of it? SOMEONE here'll know how to put it together!
  7. Eric, those comment s I made, were , to ME a vent! Some of us,like myself are NOT computer savvy as others. I didn't even touch a computer till 06 and I HAD to at work, though we've had one in my home since 2001. I DON'T learn tech stuff real easy, an I WAS upset by the change, especially since it was done WITHOUT warning. A little advance notice would've been appericiated. I think a few others would agree with me. If you noticed the date on that thread, it was right after the changes were made. But I LEARNED to "Adapt, improvise, and overcome" Not as proficiently as I would like, but I'm still here, an even got into the chatroom. Being human, i just did what most of us do when confronted with similar situations, I biched! Yes I DO think I am a loyal member, I'll have been here for 3 years on the 11th of this month. I've tried to be as helpful as i can, giving advice as i can, and with the help of my freinds here, TRIED to learn how to post pictures. Finally I did post some, but now I need to download my pictures from my personal files to my photobucket account. Just MORE for me to try an get right. I couldn't even post pics till the middle of last year, and with the help of Clay, Kenny,Porky and others, I FINALLY got it. I was UNAWARE that POSTIN PICTURES was a REQUIREMENT! If I had, I might never had joined and met the good freinds I made. For those who enjoy posting their work, that's good, and when they do, I TRY to be encourageing, no matter the fact that they may be beginners and not quite up to par with the older, more expirienced builders. If you shoot someone down, in public, which I consider this forum to be, it MAY just make that individual give up, and that's NOT what we're here for. This is a place for us to ENJOY, and appericiate the fact that it EXISTS at all. I appologise publicly to Gregg and hope he wasn't too taken back by my remarks, and I DON'T think ,after all he's he's been thru, that it did too much damage. But I still think a little notice would have gone a long way to prepare folks of the coming changes. Now as for the little child that started that particular thread, and those that supported him, well they just aren't worth my time. I'd rather enjoy the company of my freinds, than to hurl negative things back at them publicly. As for what I posted to him on his PM, well THAT I MEANT! I don't have time for children, I prefer to talk with mature individuals who are not so egoed out on themselves that they find fault in others. As I've said before RIGHT HERE, you really SHOULD treat others as you would like to BE treated. The afore mentiond individuals NOT withstanding. I hope this puts this subject to rest, and if ANYONE DOESN'T like what I say, they can just put me on their ignore list. I PROMISE it WON'T hurt my feelings. Been here from ALMOST the start, and I AIN'T goin anywhere unless Gregg asks me to leave.
  8. Ron, tol ya I'd find him! He sounds HAPPY too, dontcha think? Glad he made it back, I've always gotten along GREAT with him! Es Mi carnal!!!
  9. Marco's can you use that "Power Dissolver" WITHOUT gloves? Seemds like it works pretty good!
  10. Harry, I ain't payin fer a new cam and wheels fer that Mustang UNLESS I get to DRIVE that rascal!!!
  11. OOOO Ed, that silver one IZZZ NAZZZZ!!!! Only HOPE mine can look THAT good. I'ma gon TRY ta build it as a Rec.Vehicle! MAYBE towin a trailer, like I've seen on here!
  12. TITO!!! Donde 'stabas??? GOOD ta see yer STILL hang out Homie! I saw the video, an put it on my want list too! Just gotta pay some Christmas bills off an I'm gettin mine!!! GLAD ta hear from you again!!!
  13. VERY nice build,Marcos(as usual) Did you open the trunl on it? it has nice deep looling lines aroumd the edges of it, so it LOOKS like it's openable. VERY nice job Bro, I'd wanna keep it too!!!
  14. Dave, any 442 kit, or old Toronado kit should do the job. All Olds blocks,at least the newer ones, look the same from the outside.
  15. Jon, there's only 2 bus kits I know of, the old Scool Bus by Monogram an the new Revell of Germany one. THAT one I have, but it's a monster! If someone DID want ta build a bus they'd DEFINATELY be on their own! Pity too, cas some busses are neet lookin !
  16. where do we send it? Cash, check, or M.O.?
  17. Farmer, I saw a special on the T.V. about how they keep these things runnin cause it's illegal to trade with Cuba. They ACTUALLY MADE their own brake linings! An just about every other parts they need for them cause the COULDN'T get the parts they needed for them because of the embargo. They can't get new U.S. cars there, so they gotta keep REuseing what they had over and over again till they just couldn't use them no more! It was pretty interesting to see how ingenious these folks got just tryin to keep these cars running! But I sure wouldn't call them "Mint"!
  18. Well now,Jurg, THAT looks completely natural for that car. I remember the first time I saw a Boss 429, and it sure looked like THAT! Dark Blue and NUTHIN but engine!!! Belonged to a GIRL named Barb! She traded in a 68 HEMI Road Runner for it!!!In BLUE too!
  19. Mike-O, your jus a NASTY boy Ain'tcha??? But ya COULD have sumpthin there!
  20. Downsized to what, a 24 in screen? You new guys REALLY need to try to accoaidate EVERYONES screen. There's ALOT of guys postin in underglass who's pics fit just perfectly WITHOUT haveing to scroll left or right. we ALL want to see what you've got.And YOU obviously WANT us to see your hard work, so give a brutha a break an TRY to get them to a reasonable size .PLEASE!
  21. Why are the pics SO BIG??? I'm only seein half of them. Can't see the other half unless I scroll to theright(or is that lefy?) anyways, they're too big, an I got a 17 in monitor.
  22. Ron, Tito an Jen got married early last year, he sent me B'day wishes back in April, an he was doing well then. I'll see if I can get a hold of him.
  23. Jon, get you that wagon Jeff's got, YOU WON'T be disapointed! It is NICE!!!!! It's right up your alley too!
