Ding, Mikes right on the decals. That's the ONLY outside difference. They're ALL the SAME! No diff at all.That's why it's lost so much of it's following among modelers, they're ALL the same,just diff paint jobs,an decals. Nascar is ONLY a shell of a once popular sport among modelers, in fact I'm pretty sure Monogram has STOPPED poppin Nacsar kits!

Well, I just went to check my stash, and it turns out I have one. It came with the black car on the cover,AND a NICE slant six,as an engine option. Is this basically the same kit? Does it still come with the six for an optional build? It is a REAL NICE lookin box art job.May even get me ta buy another one. Who says the packageing don't matter?

Jeff, I once had to change a bushing in my Camaro's hinges an yep, that's what they looked like, an how they worked. Your doin a GREAT job of fixin all the kits little goofs.It's gonna be a KILLER build!

Personally Tom, why go thru all that trouble if they're NOT gonna work? I used to build 48th scale planes, an if you could hinge somethin THAT small, you can be a NEUROSURGEON! I think the reason we do stuff like that is because we CAN! It's just a natural progresion of our skills. Some guys never get to the point others do. I can't paint very well, so my cars are finished when I primer them! But just look at Treehugger's or Mr.BIGGS, or Rauls models. They had to start SOMEWHERE, an look at them now! Dave has won at the GSL for pete's sake, Biggs has won the NNL's, an Raul don't build to shabby either! They all started at square one, an just kept at it till they got to where they are today. I do it caz I get tired of buildin the same ol stuff as everyone else.I don't do it alot anymore, caz I've proved to myself I can.So now to find some other trick to make it MINE! Try it, once you've done it,and you get good at it, you'll be happy with it.

Scott, sure LOOKS like a 71 Duster, FROM 71! I remember the back tires pokein out from the wheelwells like that, they weren't deep enough to hold all that meat, so they'd poke out like that! Try puttin a set of L-60's on the rear of a 69 Nova, They'll fit INSIDE the wells but it'll give ya nosebleeds! Yer Duster looks like it should! Yeesh, I miss them days!
