  1. Jason,A good Chevy Hi-Po dealer can have any thing in his inventory. I was suprised to learn there were no COPO Novas.I read some other websites an turns out Lyle is right. They were ALL conversions from 396 Novas.Ya learn somethin new every day, Thanks for the info Lyle!
  2. Mike, that lil rod is FOR SURE comin out right! That was a great idea to section it just below the body sculpture line.I like the way it sits nice an low on the fenders. No doubt it's gonna be killer!
  3. Well Mike,I hafta agree with the others,it came out GREAT! the outside pictures 2 an 3 look especially real. The backround for them is perfect, and it makes the car look real!
  4. ######'n you certainly are an artiste AND a genius.I like the fact that your mind is constantly working on new ideas. These are for sure unique models that are in a league of there own.As a good friend would say"keep on keepin on!"
  5. Welcome back Rod,Glad you got cherself a real computer that could handle the Hi-Tech Workins of this here website.Same ol bunch of knowledgeable guys that have been here, are still here.Go head an feel at home, cuz you are!
  6. Clay I hope you never do,it changes you.Wish no one else had to either,But you know what they say about wishin............Semper Fi.
  7. At's ok Clay,I dont think you Hi-Jacked his thread.Just kinda makes me wonder how some of the younger guys would do in a combat situation (firefight).I truly hope they NEVER have to find out.I'm tired of war.Wish our politicians were too.
  8. I always thought "Nickey"and "Yenko" 427 Novas were COPO cars and not conversions. LT-1's were a factory engine designation, for the High Perfomance 350 Small Block from 70 thru 72.
  9. Cal,whaaa total loss, thats some prime rollin stock here in Deeetroit! Can't honestly guarontee it wouldnt ripped, but thats the chance you take when you stay in the Motor City!
  10. Cool Steve, My Dad had a 49,and 52 chevy Delux for his "work cars", my first car was his 52. Straight six with a three ona tree.your 49 looks great!
  11. No Sam,It's just called Respect for your elders (REAL elderly) makes a person wonder if you played golf with Methusalla.
  12. Art, Why do you always gotta complicate already complex things? I didn't even know Pocher made a 1/8th Bugatti. Oh well,Live an learn!
  13. Ice,you sure picked a heckova genre to build.I cant really say how the old JoHan kits build stock, cause I've never built em that way.I ussually rod them out. they rod pretty neat theyre pretty well detailed,so they probably build up stock pretty well. About the only thing I can see as a probable problem is their cost. If you can find em.E-Bay occasionally has them. The Lindberg Buggati Royale isn't in the league of the JoHan kits, but it does build up nice.I know this is kinda off subject,But like I said, they make nice Rods!
  14. If it looks this good as a model in pictures, it Must look awesome in person.Yes by all means it certainly came out great!I really likeses it!
  15. Ron, Ive had this same car built in my room for many many years, built from the old MPC kit,and a homemade scoop. It's a replica of my cousin Jessie's car. We used to call it"babysh8t yellow" But I think to this day It was called Butterscotch yellow.Jessie went home as a result of a tragic car/truck accident in 1971, and I never had the gumption to ask my aunt what ever happened to the car, as he was her only child. We had built that car together, it still holds very special memories for me.It was a monster and I still miss them both.
  16. Ok HARRY,your really pullin some stuff now.Just because I'm growin leery of how you work, I'll go with model this time. Not cause it doesn't look real(It surely does) But It's time you changed your tactics, so I'm figurin nows the time, unless your usin phic, pshyc, sico, unless your playin mind games! you got me on this one kiddo!
  17. So wot Biggs, you gon leve me hangin like a h*e ona street corna? whas up? Is it ,or init? ifn it is, you did a HELL ova job on at grille!

  21. Wow you have been busy! another nice build D.If I hadnt noticed the dash I'da thought it was a custom 57 chevy. This one is sharp all right.your doin a great job for assembly line builds! Now that your done,Whats next?
  22. Now thats smooth DJ. I kinda wonder since Revell chopped the roof on their 49 why didnt they section it too? It's not that hard to do,and makes that ol boat look sleeker too.Nice job ,looks really good.
  23. LEAVE BRITTANY ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Biggs,I think this is a model too. The resolution at that distance is so dam sharp you could see a gnat's as*. A great shot of a great build!
