  7. Sorry but thats NOT an FE block by any stretch,352,390,402,427/428.are FE blocks THAT is a small ford W block No Cleveland or Boss either. And It's not a Y block. My Dad was a Ford man an he rebuilt way too many of those things for me not to know! And That's A Fact!

  18. Whats wrong with just puttin em on the forum? it's right there for us to see, an we don't hafta go lookin for em!
  19. Bob,whats the website for "coffin corner" I've got some kits I could donate.
  20. Dirk,Dirk,Dirk, I don't really think people are trying to re-write history as much as objecting to symbols of out and out hatred used by certian regimes.Yes the swastika was around long before hitler used it, but under his dctatorship it lost whatever meaning it was created for and became a symbol for hatered and intolerance. he used it for a purpose totally unconected to what it meant. What was it originally? Who knows, but I and most people my age associate it with the nazi regime of WWII. It's against the law to show it In any way shape or form in most European countrys. Don't go walkin thru any Jewish neihborhoods wavin it around! It's like the white hooded robes the kkk wears. A symbol of hatred.Again I don't think anyone in their right mind would wear one thru Harlem. Some things are just NOT done.Displaying this particular symbol is one of them. Not trying to get in your as# about it just want to clarify why some folks find it offensive.
  21. Well guy's I can't make it,But maybe for a theme you could go with "Cars of our youth" that way, us older guys could build 409 chevy's or 413 mopes,or 402 tri-powers, younger guy's could build 427 yenkos,426 hemi's,455 442's, and the youngsters could build tuners. Not that you'd have to stick with your age bracket, after all, your only as old as you feel. Just an idea, hope you don't mind Milt.
  22. Dave, nota hard kit to build if you got the time an patience(and four hands, four arms etc,). Its somewhat confusing as to why its body is molded in peices like it is.I built the coupe and with some tape to hold every thing together while the glue dries, it can come out ok.I wouldnt buy another one now that the Revell kit is out though.Take your time with it and you'll be pleasently surprised!
  23. Man! is there no end to peoples insensitivity or stoopidity? Or is bad taste just the norm in some places?(then again, that Porsche is just an evolved Volksie.Still dont make it right though!)
  24. WoW! You'd think the Japenese wouldv'e thought twice before popin a kit that was in bad taste. But I guess to them its just a dead symbol.Betcha they don't export that kit to Germany.
  25. Kid, ya shoulda run some pics of the real deal, so weda somethin to compare it to.Exept the one of the undercarrage(woulda been a bitch to roll the real one on its side!)But all in all it looks like it came out purty good,Give yourself a well deserved pat on the back for this one!(an seein as how it'sa gift, don't it feel even better??!!)
