  1. I remember at my Plant, The Detroit/Hamtramk Cadillac Assembly Div.(Poletown) we had this car on display, just to show what the REAL car would look like could it have been assembled like in the song! Guys were checkin it out all week! There gotta be a half dozen body parts on that thing that are soooo far..... well, you can see the pic! Thanks for postin this Dario. Oh an as far as the parts to build it, well, to do THAT might be kinda expensive. But you could try.
  2. That paint is NICE!!!! GREAT save, you dun it proud!!!
  3. Congratulations, Andy! Yes please, share pictures!
  4. Micheal, those truck lines are SO iconic that it's hard to improve on them UNLESS you go all out custom on them, EXCEPT YOURS! The mods are so tastefully done that they flow with the original lines of the truck, not TOO much, an just enough to make it all work! VERY nicely done Micheal, It shows GREAT taste in styleing! Just enough, not too much! GREAT build!!!!!
  5. After over 40 years, I let both Hot Rod and Car Craft go, they were no longer relavent to me, those poor kids don't know the difference between a 68 and 69 Roadrunner, and think that fuel injection is "Cool" for 60's /70's musclecars. They just haven't been the same to me for several years, so I cut them loose. I get Musclecar Review and Hemmings Muscle Machine. And IF you cut them loose,(HR/CC) they WILL send you coupons for as cheap as 7 bucks a YEAR, for two years! Still not worth it to me, but you young guys might take 'em up on it. Just let your sub run out, they'll BEG you to come back!!!! They'll send ya hats an clocks an all kindsa junk!
  6. Man, if you hadn't SAID it was a model, I'd sure been fooled!!! BEAUTIFUL build!!!!!
  7. Great mod on the hood! Looks like it'll be a killer!!! I like the spoiler work on it too. didja have to trim both the front and rear of the hood to get that NICE fit???
  8. Mike, I kinda think it cost quite a bit more than 50 bucks to cast ALL this stuff, and most casters would charge a bit more than 50 bucks for as COMPLETE a kit as this. I'd still get one if they were a bit higher, caz who knows when you'll find another casting as complete as this one OR a rebuildable survivor that you could build off of. It'sa NICE lookin kit Raoul, and I wish you luck on it. These little cars are hard as hen's teeth to find! Good Luck my freind! let us know when they're ready!!!
  9. Why would I make fun of a valid question? You asked, I gave what I thought was a reasonable, realistic answer. I had no idea there was someone who actually made "proton packs" available. If you have those complete plans for building them, why not just build them. As for Slimer, well, I can't tell your sculpting abiliteis from here, but he shouldn't be that hard to copy. He's just a little blob.
  10. You know Kev, I've never heard of anyone doin them, but it doesn't seem that hard to do. Get you some sculpy clay an made Slimer, then bake the sculpy an he'll be good ta go. Maybe if you used some NoX bottles laid sideways an an old car battery above them, add some wire for hoses an such, and put them on a rucksak, you could fake them pretty well. Just toss them(the Proton packs) in the back of the ol Ecto, an you'll be cookin.Hth.
  11. You got THAT right Greg!!! Just caz they're MADE HERE, DOESN'T make them anymore american than the man on the moon. My Cadillac is REAL AMERICAN, NOT japanese economy supporting junk.
  12. Just wanna wish you ALL a Happy 4th !!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!
  13. GREAT shot for your first attempt,LoLo! Is that the supercharged Z-06 Vette engine? Looks GREAT,Bro!!!
  14. OUTSTANDING job, Joker!!! i KNOW Larry woulda LOVED it!!!!
  15. Thanks Andrew! Aren't you GLAD you cut us loose now????
  16. Cranky, that REALLY doesn't LOOK all that airodynamic ta be honest with ya. An MAYBE you secure the "Crews Quarters" down with a coupla more tie downs so it doesn't fall off during lift off. JUST a suggestion.
  17. If your talkin about the blower set up, ALL the releases got 'em. Sorry to hijak yer thread Dave.
  18. AMT 53 studebaker kit. Dave, you gonna put this body on fenders, or is it just the body on frame type rod???
  19. That's Vauhn Harts outfit. He does ALOT of Mopar stuff. I've purchased 70 Duster bench seat, a 71 Charger super b conversion kit, 71 Challenger conversion kit, and a few other things. I think his stuff is pretty good. Fair prices too. Hth.
  20. What MIGHT be throwin you off Walter, is the fact that ALL Olds engines are PHYSICALLY the same size. Only the displacement was different, hence the different color for the 455.
  21. Imma go with REAL on this'n Harry!!!
  22. Nope, your NOT crazy, an it IS your money! I take about 250 to the two toyshow/swap meets I go to twice a year. Sometmes I make out great, and spend MOST of it, sometimes I bring it back home, but EVERY time I go, I have a GREAT time. I agree with Wayne, as long as your REAL obligations are taken care of, the rest is up to you,HOW you spend your hard earned money.
