  1. Looks good! Wats it gonna carry/tow?
  2. Me TOO! WOW!!!!
  3. Just that one little mod made a GREAT big difference! it looks GOOD!!!!
  4. Christian, THAT'S a Boom STICK, kinda different from a Boom BOX. (Great solution though!)
  5. Around here the kids TRIED to put those flourecent lights under the cars a few years ago, an NOPE, the cops were on them like that color comin out from under their cars! They watch how tall those stupid monster tires get too. Too big and they get a ticket. Now if they could just get the Hummers and Excursions off the road. NO need for a vehicle that wide OR large. Get a bus fer petes sake.
  6. Raoul, other than a few trim changes, Emblems, a Grille mod, and a unique scooped hood, the GTE was the same as a GT. If you could mod the hood with the scoops, and add the thin horizontal bar to the grille you'd be half way there.
  7. You got THAT right, Brother Art!!!
  8. Tom's still kickin,Ken, talked with him about two weeks ago at the Detroit NNL's. He had his stand set up, and he and his grandaughter were sellin models! And Yeah D., our Marts used to have TONS of models! I guess that just makes us old if we remember them days! Our K-Mart only carries a few all the time now too, NUTHIN like they USED too!.
  9. Thank You, Daddy-O!!! I did not know that. The picture is REALLY cool. You can see how he moved the radiator up to fit the motor. Or chopped the chassis enough to mount the body!!! How cool!!
  10. Wallymart, Kmart,Meijer all carry models at Christmas time ONLY!!! Depending on where you live SOME K-Marts still carry a VERY small selection. No more than a dozen different scales and varieties. But after the holidays, Sayonara baby!
  11. I've seen kits like this on the bay,. They come from different Japanese cartoon series. Some of them are really neat, like this one!
  12. Neil, he sings in the song,"Had eight cylinders,an used 'em all" All this tme I thought Commander Cody an the Lost Planet Airmen wrote this song!
  13. So, if the roof is the same, then all we need to do is put in the small little 1/4 glass panels that are behind the door line? Maybe?

    Badillac !

WOW! you did such a nice job of molding that roof in, you really could've gotten away with out the fins, and those lines would STILL have flowed and blended beautifully! GREAT job!
  15. Use the AMT Shelby an cut the roof off, take the trunk deck and roof from the 66 Mustang, fit it to the Shelby body, and save yourself the trouble of choppin up Motor City's GREAT body, and in the end, it's NO more work than what you were planning to do, and you STILL get to keep the MCRC Mustang.
  16. ED, my brotha frum anutha Mutha! Harpy Barfday blood! I hope you have a GREAT day, an I wish yer ol raggely self MANY,MANY more!!!!!!
  17. Well then, I guess I'm in good company! I can't wait for it either!
  18. Ron Andrews over at RMR resins has a VERY nice excavator in 25th scale. It LOOKS like it MIGHT be modeled after a Komatsu Excavator. But it is a VERY nice piece. It runs 90 or 95 bucks, I can't remember. I bought mine at least 4 years ago.
  19. Fred, our Micheal's carry's both Revell/Mongram kits and AMT but no Lindburg stuff. Might be a regional thing.
  20. Look thru the whole thing! Theres some NICE cars in there. It doesn't seem right that they can zone his WHOLE buisness out of existance.
  21. Maybe cause they don't know ya have it bro! Hey guys, NOW you can finally make that repopped JoHan kit ACCURATE! Sorry,Steve, din't mean to hijack your topic. The Cuda's gonna look REAL good, ALWAYS liked that bodystyle.
  22. Who knows, maybe they'll pop a 61 vette with a roof if they don't do it with this one. I know I bought both the 58 and 59, and they are basically the same car/kit. I'll get this one, the roof doesn't make any difference to me. It's a NICE lookin car with or without a roof to me.
  23. I was able to get both an unbuilt 70 and 71 MPC kits off the bay, and yes, i did pay over 100.00 bucks per kit. Not REAL crazy expensive, but steep enough for MY cheapness!(110 for the 70,125 for the 71) I have an original 70 442 in the cartoon box, and have been told to give it to Jeff or Kev over at DRAG to cast, so the re popped 70 Olds 442 kits an FINALLY get the RIGHT interior! Thanks for the info on the cuda kits. Had I KNOWN about them rascals, things mighta been ALOT cheaper!!!
  24. Like the man said, it's NORMAL for us. The jerks who can't drive in DRY weather are the FIRST to go. Snow does tend to weed the good drivers from the better drivers! Just SLOW DOWN, leave a bit earlier and drive at a safe speed. No problem. Lived in Michigan all my life, and winter is GREAT building time!
  25. Mikes Scale Speedshop? carry's a 70 Dart Swinger conversion kit for the 68/69 Dart. It's a VERY nice kit. I have two of them and they fit the kit parts perfectly. Anyone have Mikes website addy? I only see him at shows.
