  1. This is the third and last AMT Transtar 4070 A that I have built. Painted with Krylon short cuts Tangerine orange and gloss white. The mud flaps have 1" stickers that I found at Old Fashioned Farmers days here in town a few weeks ago.
  2. Robinson played Mac On Night Court then went on to be Tim "the tool Man "Tylor's Boss for a season or so on Home Improvement.
  3. I have detailed a collection of Third Generation Camaro promo's The only missing year is the last of the Generation 1992. So here are the Camaro's from 1982-1991
  4. Our local weather has been so far off it's truly sad. Last week of june there was a line of storm's that were supposed to dump near 3 inches of rain. Well that was west of here then broke to the north and south of our county only to regroup in the next few counties east of ours. 90% chance of rain , But all we got was sunshine and humid temps. Then last week same thing were supposed to get hit with near 2 inches of rain, and it did the same path the one the week before took. Mid week tis week we were supposed to get 1.79 inches of rain for all day Thursday .what we actual got for our first rain in July was less than .010 of an inch. The grass is yellowish colored, but the weeds are going bonkers!
  5. Checked the Round2 July spotlight video. Which showed the Scout II as the first model shown in the video. Round2 added some things to the decal sheet, but dropped the ball when it came to stripe options. The decal sheet only has the same old Rally stripes decals with no other stripe choices. They could have at least added a set of the feathered stripes on the decal sheet.
  6. Great trade with iBorg! Hope he enjoys that Harley..
  7. I done that as well.. The second photo it can seen, and in the last photo it blends into the rocks.
  8. This is a kit I picked up at a local flea market. Parts were off their trees and the animal was started, but not painted. I took it apart so I could paint the inside of the mouth, and teeth better.
  9. Batteries and box cover was removed due to wind issues (20 MPH)
  10. Thanks to Round2 (AMT) for re doing the International Transtar 4070 a. For Christmas in 1973 both my older brother and I got a built Transtar 4070 a. Our dad painted them, and our mother built them. This is a copy of the truck that my older brother had gotten for Christmas. Mine was red and white, and I had built an original ertl kit to match the one I was given for Christmas 1973. The stickers on the windshield have a meaning 173 ( the 1 stands for my brother as he was the first boy born. 73 for the year the actual kit was given) The second sticker FT.W IND means that the real truck would have been built in Ft. Wayne Indiana. That stands for the Harvester factory my dad worked at from 1962-1983 when the factory was closed. The truck was built to look like a copy of the Original Ertl kit..
  11. I do the speed limit on U.S. 127 which is marked 55 mph (two lane highway) and even though the four lane is marked 70 mph I set the cruise at 68 mph , and only go in the passing lane when needed! Ohio State police have been known to nail a driver going 1 mph over the speed limit . Just because some are in a hurry to die don't mean I have to be! BTW My '95 Buick I had was rear ended while stopped in traffic waiting for the red light to turn green. My car was pushed into a service pickup with a lift gate, and the took out my headlight's and grill. The driver who hit me wasn't paying attention to traffic. But she was paying attention to her cell phone! Just to replace the hood/headlights and gill cost my insurance company nearly 2 grand. State Farm lost out that day as all three vehicals had State Farm Insurance!
  12. I have on minor issue with this reissue. Some of the parts have extra tabs on then where they were from the parts tree. they have to be trimmed for the parts to seat correctly , but some of those are so close to a locator pin that when you try to remove the extra tab you take out the locating pin as well!
  13. From like new to scrap metal in a matter of second's. I really don't like going on any highways such as U.S. 30 I-75 that much because of the other drivers who think that since the posted speed is set at 70 mph that they can go 75-80 mph instead. They also like to speed on U.S.127! My car isn't off and I usually set the cruise for 55-56 Mph, and Ill get passed like I'm sitting still! These fools will do near 70 on a highway marked 55 mph!
  14. Just got the AMT TRANSTAR 4070 A Via Model car mountain (Ebay) I must say I'm rather impressed by the vastly expanded decal sheet! Comes with enough IH symbols and 4070 name tags that I can add them to one of my Original 4070A 's ! Nice photo of the decal sheet that the truck come with....
  15. That project reminds me of Herbie Goes Bananas
  16. It plays well with Dupli-Color, Testors paints Never have had an issue useing Short cuts clear coat on other paint's. I did however get an issue with Rust-Olium paint reacting with it's own brand ! One color crazed when spayed with the second color. This happened to a 84 GMC pickup kit. I painted it with Rustolum gloss white which I let set a week before shooting it with a rustolium Light blue. which crazed over the complete cab/hood of that kit. So sometimes RustO paints dont react well with each other. Now this was the second time I had issued with that companies paint The other time was their gloss black and clear coat which ruined a corvette body by crazing the whole body.

  18. Funny, If you read the full comment I made I replied to what the car on top was made of. and added a Picture of a Grave stone made of GRANITE! That isn't a real car on that grave. It wasn't disrespecting the dead, but who ill carved the car on top was. BTW here are some Other Grave stones which were carved.
  19. Seriously? It took you over two weeks just to post that GIF! I tried to PM you , but it wont go through instead I have to post my response here.
  20. One Ollie's is 28 miles east of where I live. They had Goose egg zip zilch not one car or truck kit. Was told that two guys with a box truck bought every single car and truck kit. Must be nice to have such deep pockets!
  21. Just got a notice from ebay that Model Car Mountain sent a tracking number with USPS for the one I bought.
  22. The NOID ! Sorry, But I actually like the little guy! There was a real person with that last name, and he held a domino's hostage. The commercial's weren't the problem It was the jerks that teased/razed him because his last name was Noid! People sometimes are cruel, or go overboard with the teasing. Besides the little guy just likes Cold Pizza! Heck I eat cold left over pizza. Cold fried chicken can be good too!
  23. Found this for a price to good to turn down , and still factory sealed! Something I'll never build, But plan to trade it off for something I will build...
  24. Modelcar Mountain has them listed on ebay Total cost with shipping is $77.20 . Due to arrive to them on June 17 according to their listing they still have 6 to pre sale.
