  1. A MPC Shelby Dodge Charger, Which I sent to another Forum member that will build it!
  2. IMHO Father of the Bride (remake) was far better than the Original movie. Sometimes remakes are better, but not always. (IE The Dukes of Hazzard Re-make's) Like finding the General Lee under water with 01 and all on it ? I watched the show and who ever wrote the Dukes of hazzard the beggining movie sure didn't watch the show. The General was a stolen Black 69 charger used by diamond thieves, and forced into a ditch by Capital city police. The Duke boy's bought it at a salvage yard, Brought home by Lukes ford Pickup (Brown Ford F-100 or 150) The engine was already on the farm. The only paint Cooter had was a lovely shade of redish Orange as he said.
  3. Here in Van Wert, Oh we got a total of 1 inch of snow, and stayed around almost the whole day.
  4. OHHH Love that scout traveler! Hope you start making that one soon, and the Travelall as well! What would be the base (Starting point)for a '71-75 IH Pickup?
  5. Well WANE T.V. 15 Ft.Wayne Ind was right for once , And I woke up at 5 am and this is what I seen! The red 57 race car was just built in October of this year.
  6. Glad you liked them, And thanks For the Buick! TarheelRick is Good guy to trade with as well......
  7. Here is my '57 Chevy 150 with a Pontiac 389 . I also built a '57 chevy with a '60 pickup's 6 cly.. Reminder that the Raidiator is on the outside front side of the core wall.
  8. This is what the kit turned into, Since the side moldings were sanded off.
  9. The body had all of the trim removed by who ever had it before me, Otherwise it was un built. With all the chrome trim gone I decided to build as a old nascar race car. Any idea on what those extra parts are worth? Trade wise that is(IE) chop top glass ect that wasn't used.
  10. That really don't detail much about what parts were not included. As I wanted to know if they ever reissued the choptop glass in later kit's. Also there is a different hood, and no keystone mags in this issue See Pic's.
  11. I bought a copy of this kit and wanted to know about the choptop glass. How many times was that part issued with later copies of the amt '57 chevy, And were there any other parts that were in this kit that were not reissued in later kits. The copy of my box is in bad shape, plus it has a huge sticker from a store called GRANTS and a price of $1.55 printed on the sticker. I bought the kit for $10.00 The side moldings sanded off.
  12. If your wanting to use the photo etched " side filler" you will have to sand the ridges off on the inner section on the rear quaters
  13. My kit say Copyright 1985. on the side panel. And according to scale mates it's a 1985 issue... Oldcarfan27 Pm sent.
  14. A photo of the kit.
  15. My 1995 Buick Le sabre's Transmission is dying, Forward clutch plates are almost fried. So now I have to get a different car. Yea more money that I don't have.
  16. The Photo that RICHARD posted is a 1983 copy, this is the 1985 copy (non sparkling) Just trying to get a Mopar loving member something I have no interest in building.
  17. I have a car kit from the 1985 Which is still factory sealed. I want it to go to someone who will build it , as I have no interest in the make of car that it is. The car is a American make, and a Mopar by nature that's the only clues to what it is.
  18. International Pickups from 1959-1975, Travelalll's from 1960-70's Scout 1961-1970 Scout II Traveler.... IH Non commercial products are seldom done.
  19. After checking on die cast I added these notes to the Op's Photo
  20. Motor max Town and country wagon
  21. That's Odd ! I see at least 4 cars that were already die cast by either Ertl, JL, M2 Machines,Welly and Maisto
  22. The Spirit stripes are easy to do with out buying the decal set. I did my own stripe work on mine by masking the stripe area's, and putting the stripes on by hand. The Off Road Scout SS's are the new Re-issue one's. I had a couple of scout II seat's and Steering wheel's from a couple of junked ones, and used those in the Scout SS's....
  23. It would also be nice if Revell would make a 68 and 69 Impala. Those would be a great addition to their Impala line as the Produce 58,59,60,62,63,64,65,&66's We really need to fill the gap here ! As AMT makes the 62,63,64,67 and the impala, while Lindberg (now AMT) produced the 1961 Impala's
  24. Built these 3 Scout's in the last few months, The Scout II Spirit is almost finished (under the hood work) The yellow Off Road Scout SS is from the Burt Reynolds movie "Hooper"
  25. I wouldn't know as I don't get to the Ft.Wayne Indiana Location often, But they were adding a lot of toy's ect to the middle isle's of the store these kit's were on an end cap, along with the surf wagon and Lindeberg ship kits! They had the shelves filled well with the Vette/Camaro kits along with the surf wagons.. BTW they also had the spy car kit as well as Revell quick build #48,88,and #22. and other kits
