Just some questions to all of those who look down upon this kit. Even though the Pyro( now Lindberg) Auburn speedster kit is from an old production, With all of it's mistakes still get's reissued does it not? AMT, JoHan, Revell were producing kit's, Minus the dreaded Palmer kit's, at the same time and had better looking kit's. Every Model company has it's "dogged" kit's, Just read any topic about most kit's (IE Starsky and Hutch Torino, Or the Revell 57 NOMAD KIT's) Another One is how many complain about how ERTL missed the mark on the Scout II kit's, And most of those are an easy fix with parts from a parts box! Last but least how many Die cast cars are out with as many mistakes as some plastic kit's or even worse than a plastic model? The fact is even the big guy's with all the tech, and such still can and do produce inaccurate models!

These photo's show that the decal was applied as directed, But the clear lenses have been painted over with the exception of the backup lights. The lenses wasn't painted over bckup lenses because it looks closer to the real way they are on these camaro's.

The Tail lights in this kit are Decal under the clear tail light lenses, My tip is apply the decal as directed in the instructions. But after the lenses dry paint the black strip, and both the red and yellow/orange on the outside of the lenses. Leave the white backup lights clear which will give the look of the real backup lights...Also remember no mater what color the interior is the dash is black.

A few years back I bought this built B-17 G at a garage sale. Paid less than .50 cents . It was missing one of it's landing gear,And so I put it in storage in the shed while trying to get the needed part's to fix it. Fast foreword to 2018, And Ollies having the same kit for sale. so I bought the kit. After I started building it I remembered the one I had in storage, And so I went out to get it. I decided to do a battle damaged copy of a B-17 G. The Back story: The Date: June 18,1944 In the skies over Europe/ allied air base the B-17 G lost two crew members, and two others needing medical attention. The bomber makes it to base, but will never again fly the skies over Europe.

This was a problem that happend when the 150 was reissued . Revell had to stop production in China, The kit's were supposed to have been pulled off the market, and at that time revell was reissuing the correct body to anyone who had bought the kit. After almost 3 Month's after that the corrected kit hit the store shelves. The upside to having the bel-air body is you can still make a stock car out of it! As the Bel-air was used by some nascar teams while others used the 150 series .

Well I tried the Lima Ohio Location, But the person who works that section of the store told me that 1 Customer bought every and all of sale item's in the model section.

First has anyone done a four door conversion on one, What all would have to be done to the body to convert it?

The instructions say to paint the engine black, But said Engine is a Detroit diesel . Shouldn't the engine be built a green color?

My eldest son loves models, But his attention span for building them only last about 30 minutes or so. With that being said I bought two Copies of these fire trucks when Hobby Lobby clearenced them at $12.50 each. I bought one for a friend, and the other is a Christmas gift for my oldest son. I am building it for him for his Christmas present.

I sure hope that is the kit they release! I want to make a copy of that scout that was used in the Movie Hooper! That movie had Burt R, Sally F, Brian K, James Best, Jan Michale Vincent, and more.

The tail lights were made from one of the GTO's tail lights . Trimmed down to the be close to the right shape.

I think that they all had the same long frame in those kit's, The mixer, logger, dump, and Regular tractor which would be just the truck from the logger kit.

"Snake" Yes both nomads are the same size and very close to 1/25 as they work well with the Revell '57 150/Bel- Air/Convertible kit's I bought the road tough on ebay for the total of $22.50 ( nomad was 12,50 + 10.00 shipping) Where as I bought the (lucky Die cast from Publishers clearing house and almost cost twice what I bought the road tough for. The Road tough car is a tad odd interior wise as it has column shift and a floor mounted shift, And I opted to keep the Column shift. Road tough has as far as I have seen two colors of the 1/24 Nomad the green one and a reddish one, Too which I own both of them. Here's the Reddish one among the 1/25 '57 kits.

That is the Color I was going for! I thought you would like that "57 !

The Green Nomad was advertised as turquoise, which it is not Turquoise. The car came with the interior mostly off white with blue green accent on the seat and lower door panel. Also it had to many caps on the battery as well as a dull silver air cleaner. Took the car apart and redone the dash, interior, door panel's and under the hood. along with the grill and head light detailing being done. The actual Turquoise '57 Nomad was made by Lucky Die Cast, But the hood and some other parts were not added to that one. The Lucky die cast looks like the hood would open but upon taking it apart for detailing the hood is "pined" shut, Also the side moldings/door handle's are molded to the body. Lucky's 57 is a Cheapened copy of the Road Tough Nomad, But it cost me more to buy the Lucky than the Road Tough copy.

Faced with what to do with some '66 Pontiac G.T.O. Parts such as the 389 engine, red line tires, and G.T.O rims. I decided to do something different to a '57 Chevy 150. I painted the rims to match the cars body, and used the 150's dog dish hub caps. While under the hood went the 389, which fit the chassis very well.

The body was painted two weeks ago, The decal's were added mid week last week, And the glass, interior ect were done Sunday. Pictures were taken Sunday, And The stripes have been added to the rear of the car on Monday. The '57 is almost finished though.

After finding a picture online of an actual '57 Chevy 150 Ohio State Highway Patrol car. I decided I wanted to build a copy of it.

Started with a Revell '66 GTO, And converting it into the '66 Tempest that my grandmother had. That is before she gave it to my oldest sister, and before my dad re painted it blue ( my sister didn't like the original paint color). Mock up as the wheel's/axles engine ect are just sitting in place and not glued.
