  1. He was 65 years old. Played Judge Harry Stone on Night Court, Boy I liked that show.
  2. When I bought the Motor Max '58 the Chrome side trim didn't look like chrome at all, And the car had no "carpet" ect. So I Molowtoed the Chrome trim, Used blue embossing powder for the carpet: and Black washed the grill, hub caps as well as paint the spare tire. I also painted the inside window cranks/door handles, as well as the engine bottom and pipes.
  3. Dave, I think you maybe right about being cloned as the chrome side moldings are cast on the Motor max copy. My plan is to take it apart, and add "carpeting" to the interior. I also will go over the "chrome strips with a Molotow marker!
  4. Did motor max get part of the dies to make from Danbury mint for their 58 Impala? or made their dies from one of DM's 58's ? The reason I ask this is that under the hood the shaft and hook ends of posiable steering in the engine room. Plus the trunk also opens on the Motor max '58 impala as well. Anyone know anything about this diecast? Also the copy I bought is the same color blue with dark blue interior like the Danbury mint copy
  5. Still Got some light's ect to go and the box truck will be done
  6. Has anyone else noticed that Revell's web site did not list any April model releases.

  8. Ahab the Arab calling saying it's me again Margret, while playing with Bridgette the midget.
  9. It started out as an ebay buy of a mess of "parts". The cub, hood interior and front I beam/rims and tires are from the Louisville box truck, The mirrors and stack as well as the rear tires are from an IH S-series 2575. The cab lights are out of a revell snap Peterbilt. The front bumper is sourced from a DM 600 kit .It still needs a rear rim and a few minor parts/paint and it will be finished. Picture one is What i got it like and the other pictures are what I managed to do to save this kit.
  10. Thanks for your comments on the "wood" Here is the box truck as of 3/29/18. It is waiting for a few parts to come in the mail, Which will be stripped of and repainted to match..
  11. Just the side wall's and floor for the box part of the LN-8000 The wood paint was made with a mix of testors tangerine orange and flat black next It will get a coat of dull coat to cut the shine.
  12. It looks to me like the car that Barney uses is an Ford promo made by AMT while the wagon Is more likely a Korris Kars 1/25 toy (note the wagon is void of any Chrome) I did a search on Korris Kars and this may be the wagon used by otis, While the car Barney used had Chrome like the one in the second photo.
  13. Why not just get two livestock trailers from new ray 1/32 scale trucks and kit bash them to 1/25 scale?
  14. I think Perrys resin based that wagon on the amt/mpc El Camino kits. I'd try the 86 Elky as they are being reissued once again.
  15. I bought these the other day. '59 Impala, two 37 ford's and I just redone the '59 Impala and the '37 sedan
  16. I would think that the 78-86 El Camino would be as the Elky used Malibu front sheet metal....
  17. Sorry I didn't have a camera, But coming home from Lima Ohio I seen a '71 Pontiac Grand prix being driven east while I was going west. Then when I was with my 82 year old aunt we was passed by a '70 El Camino on a trailer in restored condition . Pictures were found on the net of the two car's I spotted today, Same colors ect.
  18. It is a resin cast off ebay, Fella in Canada cast them, The front clip and all Chrome as well as chassis and interior are from an AMT kit.
