I think that they all had the same long frame in those kit's, The mixer, logger, dump, and Regular tractor which would be just the truck from the logger kit.

"Snake" Yes both nomads are the same size and very close to 1/25 as they work well with the Revell '57 150/Bel- Air/Convertible kit's I bought the road tough on ebay for the total of $22.50 ( nomad was 12,50 + 10.00 shipping) Where as I bought the (lucky Die cast from Publishers clearing house and almost cost twice what I bought the road tough for. The Road tough car is a tad odd interior wise as it has column shift and a floor mounted shift, And I opted to keep the Column shift. Road tough has as far as I have seen two colors of the 1/24 Nomad the green one and a reddish one, Too which I own both of them. Here's the Reddish one among the 1/25 '57 kits.

That is the Color I was going for! I thought you would like that "57 !

The Green Nomad was advertised as turquoise, which it is not Turquoise. The car came with the interior mostly off white with blue green accent on the seat and lower door panel. Also it had to many caps on the battery as well as a dull silver air cleaner. Took the car apart and redone the dash, interior, door panel's and under the hood. along with the grill and head light detailing being done. The actual Turquoise '57 Nomad was made by Lucky Die Cast, But the hood and some other parts were not added to that one. The Lucky die cast looks like the hood would open but upon taking it apart for detailing the hood is "pined" shut, Also the side moldings/door handle's are molded to the body. Lucky's 57 is a Cheapened copy of the Road Tough Nomad, But it cost me more to buy the Lucky than the Road Tough copy.

Faced with what to do with some '66 Pontiac G.T.O. Parts such as the 389 engine, red line tires, and G.T.O rims. I decided to do something different to a '57 Chevy 150. I painted the rims to match the cars body, and used the 150's dog dish hub caps. While under the hood went the 389, which fit the chassis very well.

The body was painted two weeks ago, The decal's were added mid week last week, And the glass, interior ect were done Sunday. Pictures were taken Sunday, And The stripes have been added to the rear of the car on Monday. The '57 is almost finished though.

After finding a picture online of an actual '57 Chevy 150 Ohio State Highway Patrol car. I decided I wanted to build a copy of it.

Started with a Revell '66 GTO, And converting it into the '66 Tempest that my grandmother had. That is before she gave it to my oldest sister, and before my dad re painted it blue ( my sister didn't like the original paint color). Mock up as the wheel's/axles engine ect are just sitting in place and not glued.

I also had the low stick BMF, Bought it online even was sent a replacement that was the same way. Ever since Hobby lobby started carrying Molotow Chrome I have been using them on my builds. All The Chrome trim was done with 2 mm Molotow Chrome.

Working on a Lindberg 1/64 B-17 G. Shoo Shoo Shoo baby in bare aluminum from WWii, Shoo Shoo Schoo baby would later be painted green when it was restored at the Dayton Ohio air muesum. Shoo shoo shoo baby no belong's to the smithonian as Mephis belle took it's place in Dayton. I need to find someone to make a decal of the pin up girl for the nose art of Shoo Shoo Shoo BABY.

They also had one that came with an Orange smell too. -
I thought someone said that the Transtar II's molds were badly damaged Thus why it hasn't been reissued. I also wonder if the S-series molds were scraped at some point due to it not being a great seller.

Thanks, And a special Thanks for supplying me with the 6 Cly! And I agree that the 6 Cly should have been an Optional engine in this kit!
-
99.9% done (needs a decal for driver side door) This is a service rep's car which is a low level 150 sedan w/ Inline 6 engine.

Just finished this '69 Pontiac Firebird, I added some details such as, a better altenator, rear view mirror, heater hoses, Steering gearbox , seat belts, and body supports under the hood.

Yes, Those are the tires and rims that the kit comes with. I just black washed the spoked area ,And used decals from a revell 57 Convertible on the hub ends
