  4. Where's the 2dr? 4dr's don't do a thing for me, at all. I want a 2dr. Period. It's been to long since a 2dr SS. Dan
  5. Looks great Bryan. I really like the rusting and the interior. I built one awhile back using the Sophisticated Finishes rusting system and it looks somewhat like yours but more rusty. Keep it up and keep on keepin on my friend. Dan
  6. Yep, I agree, I like this car a bunch. Looks like real rust and very good work on the lower body. The overall look is great. Great job fer sure. Dan

  8. Lookin good Bryan. I don't have the patience to mask like you've done here fer sure. Waitin to see how this turns out. Dan
  9. Well, in that case of having fun with my models and photography here are a few of what I did with a Jeep. Thanks fer lookin and this thread. :) Dan
  10. You have a PM Roger. Thanks again. Dan
  11. OOOOOOO me like Ardun heads on a flat head Ford. Makes 'em go faster. Dan
  12. Thanks guys, and Roger I'm hoping that I got the king pins fixed last night. I cut 4 pieces of tubing and glued them on the ends of the pins. Thanks for the offer. What I do need is the 2 bumperetts that have the exhaust ports in them. The Vertical ones. Somehow the original ones came up missing and I can't find them anywhere. I'm also going to spray another coat of flat white on it today. I still haven't decided on the color for the interior yet. Dan
  13. I really like the looks of this Nova and those wheels look killer on it. Nice choice of color for the body and the tan interior really goes good with this color. Dan
  14. I like how she looks. Nice stance and this should look killer when finished. Dan
  15. Thanks fer the kind words guys. Those wheels came in the kit along with the tires. I had to redo the king pins for the front wheels and I did this tonight. What I did to fix the broken ends didn't work out so I had to do something else so that I could position the wheels in different positions. I hope this works out. I'll have some pics up tomorrow to show what I did to fix the problem. Dan
  16. This is my 57 Corvette that I built way back in the early 60's. It was painted Gold and then masked off the coves and sprayed transparent blue over the gold and it turned out a green color. That surprised me cause I didn't know what to expect back then. I used spray cans then also. Well, I thought it looked great cause of how it turned out, but there was dust in the paint as usual. I had no clue back then on how to paint the models and keep them clean and dust free. Well, it took a bath in the purple pond and now it is flat white. I had to repair some of the parts for the front end and now the chassis, engine and engine compartment is done and waiting to get the body painted. I'm going to paint it Aquairius Shift like the Frankinstude that I did with Gold coves. Well, enough yapping and here are some pics. The way she looked before I stripped it. What she looks like now. More to come so stay tuned. Dan
  17. Man, that 8 ball looks great Bryan. I took a gander at your site and I liked what I saw. Yeah, I enjoyed your work myself. I'm kinda slow at buildin stuff now-a -days also. Back problems and no job for over three years now. But, that's another story. I'm glad to see ya back at it also buddy. Take care and keep the eye candy comin. Dan
  18. Say Bryan? Nice to see ya here at the zoo. How ya been? Yer Ford looks great. Nice rust job and the color looks great. Hope to see more of yer work on here. Dan
  19. Yep, ifin they're not already open. This method works great. You can see by the pics that Chris posted that the wheels look great and you don't even have to mask anything. Just make sure that you dip them level. Just dip and let dry. Dan
  20. You could do like Chris (Zipper) told me once. You can dip the wheel in the silver paint starting from the back side and when you cover the steel part of the wheel and stop when you reach the hubcap. The back of the wheels are open and you can dip them. That way you have a chrome ring and silver wheel. I've done it and they turn out great. Dan
  21. Here are a couple pics of my Twister Vega that I built when they first came out. Thanks fer lookin. Dan
  22. Nice chop. I'll keep an eye out for this one. After awhile I'll put my eye back in. :D Dan
  23. Yeah Mike, she shore is shiny. Dan
  24. Thanks Mike. I have been experimenting with different pressures to paint enamels and I've gotten it down to 8 to 10 pounds. I do however thin my paint down very thin. When using the 1/4 oz. bottles to paint with, I only put 1/4 inch of paint in the bottle and then fill the bottle up the rest of the way with enamel reducer. This paint is very thin and I have to spray light coats and I have gotten very good results this way, plus I use less paint. There is very little over pray this way also. I'm still trying different things to better my painting. I'm always wanting to learn something different. I haven't tried Donn Yosts' way yet using laquer thinner to thin down the paint, but one day I will. I've talked to him at our show in Columbus Ohio and he's a very nice person to talk to. So is Kathy who keeps him in line. Just kiddin Donn. Dan
  25. Here are some that I sprayed the pearl mixed in Future. Again, I did nothing different than how I spray anything else. Dan
