  1. That's a great looking model! I enjoyed the cover story too. Currently looking forward to trying your method for highlighting panel lines.
  2. Very cool build. I love the old floppers. You did a great job. KB
  3. Revell '62 Impala. Apologies for the gratuitous X-post previously seen in Under Glass. (I love seeing this thread come back to life.)
  4. The photo above, from Jon, I believe is last night in Colorado Springs. Over 26,000 evacuated from that fire alone. The temps are not the problem (unless you're a firefighter), it's the lack of moisture combined with wind. This will go down as the worst year ever for fires in Colorado.
  5. Rain sounds nice. Our whole state is on fire. 105 deg Monday - tied for hottest day ever in Denver.
  6. Turned out great. I really like the B&W color scheme. Looks great. Nice photos too.
  7. Wow, tough crowd. I like it though. It's a nice piece of work MJ.
  8. That is just incredible John! It really turned out great. I always like checking out your models and this one is over the top. The whole thing is fantastic but I've got to say the paint job and decals are superb. Keep 'em coming!
  9. Very nice model. Some of my favorite subject matter too.
  10. Cool rod and I like your photo work too.
  11. That is really beautiful. Nice work!
  12. Very cool. I like it. I'm not surprised it took you a while. It looks like a lot of work went into this model.
  13. Looks like Finland has some serious drag racing!
  14. I like this forum BECAUSE of the separate Drag category. I don't like the "other" mags forum (and I don't participate there either) because all race cars are lumped together. I also like Under Glass the way it is. I may build only drag models, but I do like looking at all types of (completed) model cars. Don't change.
  15. That's a great story Larry! Those were the days - that's for sure.
  16. Looking real good Niko! I'll be watching with interest as I'm currently building this same kit. I also think it's a great kit. I was going to try to replicate the Mickey Weise Dart but have since decided to do a "phantom" racer. If you haven't already seen this, check out the link below for LOTS of photos of Mickey's Dart. It makes for great reference material. KB http://www.onlineautoconnection.com/1968%20Dodge%20Dart%20Mickey%20Weise%20Hemi%20New.htm
  17. Wow! I just looked at this thread for the first time. Unbelievable. That is one of the most beautiful and realistic models I have ever seen!
  18. That's OK Gregg. I'm personally stuck in the '60's.
  19. Burnout

    32 Chevy

Very nice work Stefan! It's nice to see so much new work from across the pond. And don't worry about your English. Most of us speak only one language (and not that well either).
  20. Very nice work Soren. Welcome to the forum. Why don't you post some of your truck models too!
  21. Looks really good! Could you post a photo of the stencil? Thanks, KB
  22. Looks good! Could you post a photo of the stencil? Thanks, KB
  23. Your engine detailing is excellent. Great build of a great kit.
  24. Nice work! I especially like your engine detailing.
