  1. I think it would be a cool fit. The only thing I can say for sure is the Calsonic Z is a multimedia kit with a metal chassis. Kinda bad. Maybe someone here has a Calsonic Nissan and can show the chassis/suspension? Really digging the Camaro. Looks killer. I wanna drive it! Edit: how about a Revell Compuware Vette? Easy to get a hold of, gt chassis and a Chevy power plant.
  2. Those pullies and the belt looks spot on. Looks like a scale model company was part of the production of printers.
  3. I'm thinking maybe a jgtc/gt500 chassis? Tamiya offers a heap. Calsonic r32/33/34/35, a bunch of different year Nsx's, supra's, sc430's. Maybe some will work quite good.
  4. Even though you won't admit it, you're a man of spectacular skill and problem solving solutions. Always love seeing your updates Mike.
  5. Not only do you build these fantastic creations, but you build them FAST! Great work, Ira. "Mr. Building-and-then-the-vtec-kicks-in".
  6. I love WRC's, especially these Fiestas (of the modern era rally cars, they're my favs.) Would look amazing all dirty and splattered with mud!
  7. That actually exists. For example, the "Messa-Schnitzel":
  8. Thanks Bruce. I absolutely love these kits. With minimal parts (Some kits has only ONE parts tree!) you build them in just a matter of hours. Plus the wife lets them stay on the shelf because apparently they're "cute". Never heard that WWII-fighters or jet-fighter were "cute".
  9. Looks awesome, the kind of awesome that makes me in awe. I wanna build one! ...but seriously though, who in their right mind would mould a kit in pink!?...
  10. Man, I love these eggplanes. Quick build in off-hours at work with tamiya colors and no-name "hobby brushes". They are SO fun!
  11. Looks really bad in green, the good sort of bad. Fantastic color choice. Now, imagine a new(er) 911 gt3 slant nose. Mmmhhh.
  12. Beautiful. Are you going to add the Jota wing/spoiler? I think that it destroys the wonderful lines of the body. But hey, it's supposed to be there.
  13. Mike, you never cease to amaze me.
  14. Spent the day reading through all 160 pages on my phone: now my eyes bleed. I can't even begin to describe this build. It's... Something else. Wow.
  15. "work of Art" has a whole new meaning now. Fantastic.
  16. Looks great. And those headers sure looks good in chrome.
  17. Sure will! The renting an apartment sounds nice, Alltho this hotel is really nice, I would love to get past this "tourist-y" way of visiting Rome. At the moment I don't have the time, but next time I visit Italy I'll definitely rent a car or something and take a trip along the amalfi, or just along the coast to wherever I end up. Lovely country.
  18. Hey Mike, just to give you an idea of how much I like this build, I'm checking in during my anniversary trip to Rome. Wifey isn't too pleased but I have to Have you decided on a color yet? Rosso Corsa will probably be best now that blue is ruled out. Ever seen a Giulia in yellow?
  19. Also, in my experience with painting rc polycarbonate bodies, removing the tape in an angle towards the paint edge helps. Also, sometimes I cut with an xacto knife along the edge.
  20. I also think the Miura is a better looking car, never really felt the Jotas. Nice build tho. Keep it up.
  21. I believe you have the skills, but sometimes all of us need to step back and look from a different perspective to know how to tackle certain obstacles. Unfortunately you've let this one lay for a year, but I'm certain you can figure it out. Have a look at it and keep on working, that chassie looks way too good to be left in a box.
  22. Looks killer.
  23. So, here's what I dug up. It's a wheel, and I know they are similar and sometimes the same. It's a rim with no spokes, (steelies?) and the backside shows the molded plastic as brown, maybe this car is older than I thought?
