  1. Wow. I like this a lot. The horsemen is a great theme.
  2. Thanks guys. And yeah, the decals... Isn't that why we build racecars?
  3. James, I'm nowhere near a fan of lowriders, but you pull them off in my liking every time. Great work.
  4. Started this kit a couple of days ago. I'm a really big fan of Carlos and I love the WRC Corolla. Got the chassis done except for the two rods from the rear lower arms (don't know what they're called in english). Started on the interior and body aswell, more pics later. Chassis and brakes are done in different shades of alu, greys and C1 metallizer for muffler, rotors and added some brake dust and hub wear. Stay tuned.
  5. Can someone please post pictures of how these metalizers look? Preferably aluminum kinds, polished or unpolished. Thanks.
  6. What scale? lol. Got a new mancave coming as well? Great work on that T-bird.
  7. The BRE's are some of my favorite racecars of all time. So cool.
  8. I must say, those are some pretty boring wheels. They make the car look less supercar and more... 90's Opel. But that's Jag's fault, you do it right by using them, after all, they should be there. Great work.
  9. Of the espresso? Sure! I'll try to get some of the modena later today.
  10. Wait, a "cool crazy custom"-thread without Ira posting? Something I never thought would happen. Great builds guys!
  11. ...and the old model from Revell. Buon Giorno! I miss Italy. Built in 2002 or something. Brush painted and polished.
  12. Yeah... Nothing really. Need to get my thumb out of that particular place and order some paint. I have neither the orange for the engine or the paint for the body.
  13. Har inte heller något svar... men välkommen tillbaka! Haha.
  14. Samma samma där du Tror du förklarade lättare dock Sorry for the swedish.
  15. Macro might work, but beware of the fisheye effect. Also, on my previous post, before you rush out and buy a new lens, try the aperture-shutter speed-self timer-camera stand-trick with the lens set on 55mm... That is, f22/15sec 55mm and good lighting.
  16. The photographer in me would love to teach you everything I know, but for now, I'll leave just some pointers. 55mm is not enough to get good (read: real looking) photos of stuff that's small. When I photograph things in the same size or smaller, I like to use a lens somewhere around 200. Anything under would somehow distort the image as the human eye's focal length is somewhere around 50mm when compared to a 24x36-sensor. Then there's the factor of aperture and shutter speed. A small aperture (high number, small hole) takes information (light) from more places than a large aperture (low number, large hole), resulting in sharpness from both near and far in the image. But for the camera to let in enough light, your shutter speed needs to be SLOW. Close the aperture and let the camera take the picture (let the light flow in) for 15 to 30 seconds. Use a camera stand, and use the self timer. (as the press of the button can wiggle the camera enough to generate a motion blur). So I would get a 200-ish tele-lens and use the two most important things: good lighting and foot-zoom. (walking closer or further away instead of zooming with the camera ). Hope I make sense, it's hard explaining things like this in something that's not your mother tounge. Feel free to ask me anything if you need or want.
  17. Which one did you get?
  18. As a younger man, I was the only in my circle of friends who appreciated this car. It's gorgeous, and that color tops it off. Great start.
  19. Glad the vette chassis was a good fit.
  20. For simpler kits I recommend the Egg Planes from Hasegawa. 15 parts maybe, great fun to build and super cute. Got a few in my students work thread in All the rest. Go check it out.
  21. Does it have to be hollow? Rods are much easier to bend. Otherwise you can fill it with sand and secure the ends. Or use a springy thingy bender.
  22. Great, I'll first of all tell my friend to stop. He's shooting faskolor for lexan (polycarbonate) rc bodies under the fan. That's why I wondered if it was a good idea or not.
  23. Looks like a newly stocked up ford dealership. Great fun building with kiddos, I've done it myself.
  24. Does this work as a booth/instead of a booth? I have nowhere to drag an exhaust nor any hobby room. If the kitchen fan works, which colors work? I was thinking of just building a booth around the fan, with a floor and walls (no top if you catch my drift)
