  1. Really nice. Great work.
  2. Under Glass. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=98702
  3. The 1998 World Rally Championship season was the 26th season of the FIA World Rally Championship. The season consisted of 13 rallies. Tommi Mäkinen won his third consecutive drivers' world championship driving for Mitsubishi, ahead of Carlos Sainz and Colin McRae. The season ended in dramatic fashion when Carlos Sainz's Corolla WRC stopped approximately 300 metres from the finishing line in the final stage at Margam due to mechanical failure, thus surrendering his fourth place on the rally and handing the title to Mäkinen. The decals weren't fun without setting solution. WIP: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=92154
  4. Amazing. It's so beautiful.
  5. I always thought your forum name suits you. Fantastic build, as always.
  6. Interesting!
  7. Would there be enough fuel in the tank too drive that thing even a 1/4 mile? All these questions never to be answered...
  8. First build? My first built had 10 uneven layers of brush painted enamels and about 5 kg of glue. This? This is beautiful. I'm sure it's gonna be fun watching you build more stuff in the future.
  9. That thing is so smoking hot the wax job MUST be a bikini wax. Love it!
  10. I would like it if the kept this livery, just adding their traditional colors.
  11. Wow. Stunning. That green really suits the car.
  12. Might just be the pictures, but compared to the reference picture the bottom pulley appears to sit too high. Look how the belt wraps around the bottom right pulley before going back. Maybe it's just a mirage. Great updates as always. Your builds are great. Edit: Might actually be the lower right pulley sitting too low?
  13. That looks terrific! Always liked Tamiyas acrylics but never tried to use them on bodies since I thought the clear wouldn't be this shiny (in my interpretation of it). Thanks for the pictures, now I have to try it. It looks really good.
  14. Looks great!
  15. Please do. Never seen X-clear being shiny enough.
  16. Really nice Niko. That red paint pops! Bra jobbat!
  17. If you want some odd inspiration, the tv-show Supernatural incarnated the four horsemen as demons in "human" bodies. You should be able to google some pictures of them/it. Really cool incarnations as they really captured the feeling of war, famine, pestilence and death.
  18. I'd be terrified to shoot clear over acrylics. And Tamiyas X-Clear isn't all that shiny. So you might as well just skip it. If you don't know of a clear that's safe over the acrylics.
  19. Will "Pestilence" be rotten? Rusty and nasty? This is such a cool idea.
  20. What clear do you use over the Tamiya X? Car is looking brilliant. Keep it up.
  21. Well, yes. And don't forget the white Williams. Almost no need of a color TV. This year will be a bit confusing, since the Force India looks lika a McLaren, and the McLaren looks like a 2010 HRT-Virgin crossbreed
  22. As a Swede, living just km's from where Marcus is from, I have to like this car. And I really do. Just too bad they ran out of paint before they could paint the wings lol.
  23. Now that the thread is already bumped, I just want to say I'm one of those guys that starts a build, starts a WIP thread, and somewhere in the long run I forget the camera. Might be the glue and paint fumes that makes me forget stuff, but nevertheless it leaves me with pictures of the initial stages of the build, and pictures of the finished model. I don't know, I just get "in the zone" and build, build, build, without a thought of stopping to photograph...
  24. Mini Coopern ser nice ut. Keep up the good work.
  25. Hej Johan Kul att se dig här.
