  1. If you don't mind paying over $25-30 for one on evilbay that is. Even the last re-issues of the 72 Fleetside go HIGH!! Look pr parts lots/builts to get them cheaper. got a few good rebuilders that way Putting one of those on a Revell 65 Stepside. Stretched the frame to Longbox spec for it to fit!! That Mini-Motor Home might look good on that 55. Just remember to stretch the frame I don't think Chevy offered the 8 ft bed till the 58 Fleetside 55-57 Cameo's were the same as Stepsides, since that is what they mounted the fiberglass fender to!
  2. If he means Painting, as in the Side of a Van, then Yes MURAL is the spelling

(scrap sprue melted in liquid cement.) Made the missing GTO emblem for the trunk of my AMT 65 Goat. My 64 Marauder is stashed so I can't get to it right away.
  6. I have one of the Sedan Delivery and the 36 ft fifth wheel trailer kit. I want the Aerosedan too. I do hope the Coupe comes out. I could use the convertible body that was originally announced too, but the coupe would be an easy mod for a convertible
  7. I have those Clipboards from other kits!! (I Never got a Chevette) The Fire Chief issue of AMT's 32 Ford Vicky had Boots, Helmet, Captain/chief Cap, Gas mask, Megaphone Lantern and small first aid kit/box. (I have 2 of this issue)

  10. STILL???!!! Original AMT or MPC (not sure which) 67 Chevy Fleetside The cap is from the 68 issue of the AMT 63 F-100 or 69 Chevy Fleetside I got it in a lot with a 69 so bet it was that one!! This is the 69 that had the Cap on the 67 above it was painted green and had etched the body 72 Fleetside with a Stretched Blazer chassis "Street Sleeper" Elegance Series issue of the AMT 65 GTO. 11. Still more??!! This is a Promo I got CHEAP at a Carlisle PA car show several years ago. Had to replace the windshield frame. Scratchbuilt it by tracing one on a 61 Ranchero!!! 62 Mercury Meteor 2dr Sedan. Got this FREE after building a 70 T-Bird 4dr for a Car CLub friend Years ago. Want to restore this one. Built is 35-40 years ago!!! Don't remember Who made it!!! AMT 60 Ford F-100 Got this from a Sam Click in Florida LONG time ago. Had to fix a scrapped body.

Many Loose parts!! 65 Galaxie Convert found in a Parts/built/Junk lot!
  13. Round 4!! 59 Ford Custom 300 4dr sedan Roof is from a resin 59 EDSEL, I used the Toy for wagon body for door lines. Yes is is going to be a Police car. NO Not LAPD, or ANY Cal. department!! Think N.C. Sherriff!!!!!!! Another Police build. 2dr this time I made a mask of the resin EDSEL roof and applied it over the Rev Skyliner roof to mark and cut. This one will be a Baltimore, Md. cruiser!! (If I can get scale Balt. decals!!!!) I will add the sedan post & frame After I glue the roof & windshield in place! Original Ghostbuster's Ecto-1' This is an Original issue AMY 1A kit Backdated to Ecto-1 Spec. (Started when NEW, Years before the Polar Lights kit which is not quite accurate) MY 64 Marauder
  14. Round 3 Original AMT 59 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible Jr Trophy re-issue of the Hardtop PMC Toy store issue of the 59 Ford Country Sedan Super detailed Revell Fairlane 500 Skyliner Scratchbuilt Continental carrier, opened doors, etc...... PMC Toy issue Ranchero Like the wagon above this is on a Revell Skyliner chassis. Even Grill is from th Rev kit
  15. Second group; This is my FIRST EDSEL kit. Joe "Wheat's Nostalgia" resin copy of AMT's Original 58 Annual He did not have a chassis, so it is on an AMT 57 Fairlane chassis. (Not steering) Does have the engine, but did not open this hood. Last 58 EDSEL (Not Last EDSEL!!) Yes a STRETCH!!! Uses 3 roof sections (front & rear bodies +convertible's leftover), but may use 2 more. I can't keep the 2 joint areas from sinking badly 59 Villager Wagon. This one started with an extra 59 EDSEL hardtop & Ford Wagon Resin bodies. Doing another in Styrene, but not getting as good a joint/bonding!! Original AMT 59 Convertible Got this as a built. Only missing the instruction sheet!!! Got the Box, custom parts, decals all stock parts, etc!!!
  16. Primered projects?? Gonna be here a while !!! AMT 74 Mustang2 was painted green. Paint etched the body. JR Toys Resin 58 EDSEL Bermuda I am building as a Villager This is on a Modern tool 58 Pacer chassis and I cut the hood open. Was using an AMT 57 Ford, so had already mounted the ford's Engine bay. Another 58 EDSEL Project B pilar is scratchbuilt from strip styrene 2 More 58 EDSELS Hardtop is box stock build, convertible is cut open and will have the Skirts & Continental kit from the Deluxe issue
  17. I like this one too. I have The Buyer's Choice-1 issue to get back to and managed to get a good condition started Convertible to go with it. Even got a second convertible box with parts including the boot not in the started builder!! I have a couple Primered builds with the foil on them. I will NOT Sand the paint off but polish it with Turtle wax. Less likely to cut through the foil, paint & plastic that way! My Turtle was is an OLD bottle! Had an AMES sticker!
  18. The MPC Display Case trailer came with a small movable Compressor (handle & wheels) a few tools, Oil cans, a drum, gas cans, etc. (And the Cabinet for the front) Hope they re-issue that again soon, though I already have 2 of them! The Chrysler Imperial Roadster in the Gangbuster's series also had a Safe, and two briefcase/Suitcases. One with Cash in it, the other with a clear insert of Jewels. Ma Barker's Tour had some of those too. I don't know if the 2 different Lincoln's had different or same Gangster parts. The Camper is from AMT but they did the 65 no 66 El Camino. It actually was in an Early or Original issue of the 59 El Camino The Trophy cars are in MANY AMT kits., though the 57 Chevy only came in the Older issues of the 57 Chevy and the same for the 57 Ford. The Stylized Fastback & 32 Fords were in Several kits. The Chrome Trophy tree in the Avanti was first offered in AMT's "Customizing Series" kits. 66 Wildcat, 50 Ford Convert, 66 T-Bird, 49 Merc. It always had the Vette, stantions, & Easel/dislpay sign. I have several of that chrome tree The 50 Ford Convert had the 4 Cinder blocks, both the 49 Merc & 58 Impala kits had the chrome crankshaft & pistons I have the Touch Tone Terror Phone Booth. The rack is in the built pickup. just not painted. Booth is with my Resin 58 EDSEL Villager. As for AMT's 61 & 62 Buick Special Wagons kits, The only real difference in the 2 are the grill update, & boxart. Interior, accessories, etc are identical. I have versions of both. Gunze Sangyo added Figures & accessories to their 50's-60's American classics. I have the 59 Impala & Cadillac Deluxe kits. The each have 4 figures, and the same CHROME extra's including a Pay-phone. If I can be awake during Daylight hours I will dig out ALL the accessories I have and take pic's I will also get the Gunze kits out.
  19. I was just about to ask about that interior part. Why didn't MPC just add a cut off marking to the backside instead???
  20. How did Audi, etc race LeMans with Diesels and NOT Smoke at all???? Oh, And BE so Silent even on the In-Car Cameras???
  21. zenrat, I bet if there were such shows, and kits were made, they would be the GIRLS Not the cars!!!
  22. Microwaves work more on Liquid content than solid, so would not heat the part enough to even notice let alone allow you to remove a warp.
  23. Actually, Many departments still used 2dr cruisers till the 70's. I have pic's o0f Georgia Javelin's, & Nebraska Chevy's. Kansas had a 66/67 Belvedere 2dr Also, CHP has used Camaro's & Mustangs since 79. I have 4 Good bboks full of pictures; Monty McCord's "Police Cars-A Photographic History" & "Cars of the State Police & Highway Patrol" Dodge, Plymouth, & Chrysler Police cars 1979-1994, and "Police Cars-A Graphic History" by Bruce Cameron from Law & Order mag.. I want several of this kit. Maryland used them!!
  24. Remember, the 55 Cameo was modified to also produce a 57 Cameo. The Interior tub was likely so close to identical that they did not re-modify it to 55 marking. I got a pre-painted 41 Woody with several of the engine parts mis-molded. Returned it. Also had one of the MPC Indy Pace car sets with the Camaro body Melted & flattened/crushed on the front corner. also returned that kit.
  25. For me, hard to say. Revell's 57 Squire (I do have a built bashed one to restore) Any of the Rev-o-Germany Fire rigs that I don't have Any of the AMT, Jo-Han & Revell Annuals from 58-69. (again, ones I don't have. ANY original 1961 kits!!! (I am a 61 model myself.) Rob Z, I have an unbuilt of that 65 Wildcat! I just wish it had a Bench seat & rectangular dash gauge set!!! My dad had a black over Silver 65 'Cat with Bench seat, Fold-down Armrest in the center!!! I got the Buick & a 62 Mercury Meteor FREE as a gift for building a 70 T-Bird 4dr for a former Car club friend (Please Don't ask!!)
