  1. Right now, I have 2 Originals I likely will not touch. AMT 65 Buick Wildcat, & ALF Aerochief Snorkle. The Snorkle has since finally been re-issued 3 times (They had to retool the boom/basket) The Wildcat, I need parts to correct it to build as my dad's 'Cat. His had Hubcaps Not the Buick mags, Bench seat with armrest Not buckets & console. and the dash is very wrong for his. The kit has the twin-pod round gauges, while his had the single large rectangular cluster. I want to find pictures of the car before I even think of trying to duplicate it. I am building 3 classic annuals from then. Trophy series re-issue/continuation of the 61 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner, 62 Mercury Meteor 2dr sedan, and Elegance series issue of th e65 Pontiac GTO. This is the Last issue Before it became one of the modified Dirt Stock car series racers. I must say, the Electric Blue clear windows are interesting!! I did have to replace the Stock GTO rims & exhaust manifolds. It only had Headers and "Johnson/Johnston Bridged Hub" Mags according to the box.
  2. The Grand National I saw in Maroon/Burgandy had the correct GN decal on the fenders, and the boarder matched the color of the car. Plus, it was too new to have been painted. I saw that car when the Grand Nationals were on sale at Buick dealers. it sat right in front of a neighbor's house. I could see it from my front door. Was not there long, but few a few weeks/months
  3. I have one of the Original High-Performance issues of the GNX. I am converting it to the Indy Pace car. Might need to get one of the new issues though to check the interior decals. I did not know the GNX was offered in other colors. I saw the Grand National in a Dark Re. Almost a Burgandy/Maroon, but never the GNX. Even most Grand Nationals were black.
  4. I am surprised to say I do like this. I have one, but need to replace the seats. They are Rubber just like the tires. No Way I will use those!!! Any one cast them in resin? Any of the other AMT kits have Styrene seats?? All I see when I look at that box is JUNK!
  5. I only ask one question "Do you accept Postal Money Order?" because I do not have paypal. I use to use Wal-mart MO's but they now charge you to Cash one!!! No thanks Best part about Postal MO is I can charge the seller with FEDERAL Mail fraud & theft if I don't get the item, or can show it is wrong and they won't correct it. I will notify the seller if the picture is not of the item being sold.
  6. Nice build so far Always wanted this kit. Still haven't gotten one. Had the 89 Annual Long box Fleetside building it box stock & Box art. Decided to jump under my feet one day while I was walking by the shelf. The Tires/rims MIGHT be salvagable, but don't think anything else is. Have not started the stepside kit and the 88 Annual is still sealed!! I have this shortbox fleetside in Promo form, but it is an Indy/Brickyard Pace Car!!!!
  7. Nice build!! Nice to see the re-issue was molded white. My Ertl issue (Continuation re-issue??) was molded in color. Cab etc were red, not sure about chassis, engine. But think some parts were black. I need to dig it out & get pictures. Wish I could find this & the 600 though!!!! By the time I heard about them, they were sold out and only on the secondary market. Almost double price too!!
  8. Wonder if this means we will get the Shirley Muldowney Bounty Huntress Plymouth kit too?? I built one Way back than. Still have it some where
  9. I like them too, but would rather get them Flat. Not folded/assembled That might let them sell cheaper too
  10. I like this too. I have one to build, but need to find the Sherriff issue Revell parts I set aside for it!!!!
  11. The Drastic Plastic Fotki album from Instructions group includes Box Art too. I know, I supplied some of them.
  12. I may need to check Modelhaus. I have 2 of the X-El promos. one Lt Blue (Almost White) and one black I May convert that one into a Police and remove most of the Belvedere trim.
  13. I agree on the Edsel Wagon not a likely kit to be seen. I too have one of the Danbury Bermuda's. I like that White over Red Woody!!!! Got to get it Out on display!!!!
  14. Not on the Revell site yet. I just checked. Opens up the page about the kit, but no Instructions pdf file yet.
  15. I want that Military Wrecker too!! Got one Wayback, but that just TOO Expensive now!!!
  16. How did they do the "Zipper Top" cars that could run one week as a Convertible and then the next as a hardtop again??
  17. Which 58 Edsel Wagon?? Round Up (2dr), Villager or Bermuda?? On Villager & Bermuda, 6 Passenger or 9?? I would any of love those too (Look at my Name)!!!!!
  18. AMT's 3 51 Chevy kits and the 2 Galaxie 46-8 Chevys have 6's AMT's & Monogram's 53 Vette's have 6s. the already listed Modern Tool AMT 60 Chevy CameoFleetside, & Trumpeter 63 Nova. Both MPC/AMT 69 Firebird & Trans AM version kits have the Pontiac 6. I am not sure what the engine is in my MPC Pacer even though I tore it down for a Resto. I do know the 6 in the MPC Jeepster/Copmmando is a V not in-line.
  19. I want a couple of these. Just wish they would have given us the Window van option from WAY Back when!!!! And what about the Open Road Mini Motor Home option This one had Way back too??
  20. I bet the Windshield frame IS Separate & from the 55 kit along with the Boot cover. Since they were likely the same on the actual cars anyway. I don't care. I am just glad to Finally get a Convertible kit of the 57!! Will they do the 56 too??
  21. Many times the Sargent would drive a Wagon version of the regular Cruisers. Look at Adam-12. Mac drove the Wagon while Pete & Jim were in a sedan. Though, LAPD used the Belvedere NOT Fury, Jo-HAn included LAPD decals in there kit. I too wish Jo-Han still had possession of the Fury kit tooling, but most likely,as stated in many emails & forums I have read, it was taken by former Seville employees and sold for Scrap to make up for lost paychecks before Okey got the company.
  22. Some Cameras come with a CD to install software, but Any with a USB cable will Plug N Play. Just plug the cable into the camera & PC then Turn the camera ON it will activate on the PC just like a Thumbdrive!! I then Move the pic's I want into the correct folder "My Pictures", My Models, etc Rename them to get rid of the DCS1234 type name and they are ready to post to Photobucket or email I prefer this method as Not all Cards are readable by all readers. Some Brands of camers have Different cards for different Models of Camera!!!
  23. Jo-Han offered a Top of the line Belvedere Promo for 56. I think you have a Savoy It has been offered a few times through X-El, and lastly Okey Spalding as a promo, or promo kit molded in sellect colors and even white for the kit. How ever, it is a 4dr sedan and there is NO interior. Also, the chassis is a Flat panel much like that in th e59 Rambler Wagon kit There are a few out there, but they will not be cheap!!! Hopefully IMC WILL get going and release the 3 Jo-Han kits announces last year so that maybe the 56 Belvedere will be offered later.
  24. I use Maxthon3 with no problems. Though I think the site overloaded earlier tonight while I was on.
  25. If you don't mind paying over $25-30 for one on evilbay that is. Even the last re-issues of the 72 Fleetside go HIGH!! Look pr parts lots/builts to get them cheaper. got a few good rebuilders that way Putting one of those on a Revell 65 Stepside. Stretched the frame to Longbox spec for it to fit!! That Mini-Motor Home might look good on that 55. Just remember to stretch the frame I don't think Chevy offered the 8 ft bed till the 58 Fleetside 55-57 Cameo's were the same as Stepsides, since that is what they mounted the fiberglass fender to!
