  1. I believe that the Orange Crate kit has a Latham Supercharger. I think that someone here built this model. Mike
  2. Someone here uses this technique. I make a "SLOP Mold" using Silly Putty. Press it against the emblem or script and I fill it with JB Epoxy. I leave it cure for at least 2 days so it gets rock hard Then trim it and sand it as best I can. Then spray it with the body color And then using a toothpick and Molotow Chrome I pick out the lettering. I have made heads and valve covers using this Silly Putty "Slop Mold" technique. Whats nice there is enough Silly Putty in the egg to make 3 o4 of these "Slop Mold " parts at one time. Mike
  3. The top the part can get gunked up with dried paint. When you press the trigger the air flow valve is stuck and the air does not flow the way it is suppose too. Mike V-174 | Making Quality Spray Paint Equipment in the US Since 1904 (paascheairbrush.com)

I still have some it where and I am gonna dig it out and use it Mike

  20. My Squirrel story. One morning I am down in my basement's family room. I hear this noise and I start looking around. Staring back at me through glass fireplace doors is a squirrel. Now what am I going to do? I grab my welding gloves and put them on. I open the doors just enough to get my hand into the fireplace and grab the squirrel. It clamps down on my thumb and I pull it out of the fireplace. Now what am I going to do? Break its neck or drown it the utility room sink? I went outside and thew it over my neighbor's fence glove and squirrel. The neighbor's dog just happened to be out in the yard, and it went nuts. That squirrel had a very bad day. Later that day I climbed onto my roof and repaired the damper and put on a new chimney cap. I am so glad that I closed the fireplace doors before going to bed. Mike
