  1. I found this at an Antique Store in Lake Geneva Wi. This will be great for scribing panel lines. I will sharpen tip. My teeth hurt just looking this thing.

    GTO

You can check out the Don Youst Airbrushing CD. I don't know if he is still selling them. I still use his method today. If not, you can always go to Wanted. I use an airbrush and de-canted spray can paint sometimes. That is the iconic GTO color. When I think of a GTO yours is the one that I lust after Mike
  3. My wife and I have steak fillet and King Crabs for our New Year's Eve dinner. A tradition for over 30 years. {OUCH !!} Gonna miss those spiney, hard to cut open crustations, and they are worth all the hard work. Mike
  4. Bill, The Snow Crabs are gone. Probably heading to Russia for colder water. King Crab is shut down. Coast Guard. It is a big ocean !! Processing, facilities, and fish markets would be forced not to buy any Alaska crab. Sig was in Norway trying to get into the Norwegian crab industry. Mike
  5. I like it
  6. Now that I am retired, I spend 2-4 hours building. I have to get off my but and start taking photos and post my builds Mike
  7. If there any fans out there. What is gonna happen to the show and the fisherman now that the Bearing Sea crab grounds are closed? I have been watching the series since day 1. Mike
  8. I also have a set. Hope that a Double Red set appears one day. Mike
  9. Thanks for that info. I have one waiting to be built. Mike
  10. Mario, Glad to see how well the T/A turned out. Were able to use the decal that I snipped the corner off? Mike
  11. I agree with David. I also have used solid round Evergreen rods. Good Luck Mike
  12. I guess it all deepens on what you are building and personal taste. Metallic paint was used on high end 30's cars. So, two tone metallic and baes coat paint jobs from the factory have been around for a long time. 13. This SO KOOL !! I learned something new today. Thanks for sharing. Mike
  14. I bought them the other day and you are right about the colors. The nozzle tip is great I can actually squeeze out 1 drop at a time
  15. I use Cockpit glue on all 4 corners. Tape the windshield and use Epoxy to glue the rest of the windshield in place. Mike
  16. I went Thursday same old stuff. I stand there looking at the kits saying, "I got this one, got this one, so on and so on" Hopefully Christmas will bring some new stuff. My Hobby Lobby started getting Gundam's and paint supplies for them. Mike
  17. SMS016 Photo Etch Cut Off Set - Large – The Small Shop
  18. I have one of these and it works great. Make sure you use the blade that is recommended. It also prevents the parts tree from bending, twisting, and ruining the rest of the tree. Photo etch cutters VS Small Company tool Good luck Mike
  19. Dumb question. Was there fisheye on the paint before you clear coated? Mikw
  20. Thanks Guys for the info
  21. Does an ALPS printer have the ability to clean up and magnify an object? Example. I have an old picture that was taken outside of my house during Christmas 1964. The picture is shot through the front window and you can see our Christmas Tree. I can see the ornaments and the tinsel on the tree. I still can make out lettering on the ornaments. But not sharpe enough to read them. Example. I can see the numbers and letters on a license plate, but I cannot read them. Mike
  22. -To change the screen size, I hold down Ctrl the press - to reduce size and = + to increase. Good luck Mike
  23. I think that someone here grafted the front end onto a 67 GTO body. It was a well-done build. It was this one? Mike
  24. I found a couple of pictures. This is a BMW diesel powered one.
