  1. Well here it is, I promised to post this months ago when I sold up & got out of the hobby. Unfortunately, I left what I had kept from the collection with my beloved half sister & her son to look after & they thought it would be nice of them to smash what models I kept, some people, tsk tsk. Anywho here she is after been put back together, 1967 Dodge Dart Revellion Revell Kit body Revell Tony Nancy 22jr dragster frame, engine block, blower, scoop, seat & assorted parts Revell 41 Willy’s HEMI heads & valve covers Revell parts grill MAS blower belt & cogs Herb Deeks wire wheels Peter Musters rear aluminium rims with kit wheels Geronimo’s Mopar licence plates from the Dodge Challenger PE kit Tamiya’s drive figure with parts box skull & helmet MCG PE safety harness & speaker screens on the head & tail lights Futurattraction disc brakes & callipers Modelers AN fittings & RB Motion braided line Alclad candy golden yellow & candy red paint I should add that this was the 1st model I build as a kid, that one became a glue bomb. This is probably the last one I'll ever build.
  2. Keith Marks Decals http://public.fotki.com/mofobow/plymouth/mod_top_pattern/
  3. Wow guys thanks for all the info, got a bit to keep an eye on now. I've answered each question & think we have a winner. Here's where they're kept. This is in my man cave where I do all my building. cobraman, No, sunlight, heat, possibly, it does get hot & humid here. Art Anderson, It's fading away, very in depth report, thanks for teaching me something new. Modelbuilder Mark, Now there could be a problem as I use baking soda & super glue as body filler. No carpet powders used in the house. Pro Wrench, I'm single & live on my own, only do basic house work so no glass cleaners used I do smoke but not in the house.
  4. The chrome on a lot of my models is disintegrating. The models are in a glass display cabinet. Any ideas on what's causing it? The polar lights kits seem to be the worst off.
  5. Aussie Holden Monaro's, nice, the wheels suit the black one.
  6. Glad I got mine when I did, top quality product Kevin, I'll get it built.....................one day, LOL.
  7. Someone with a lathe could make them fairly quickly
  8. Very nice work. Keith Marks has the 500 tail stripe for this.
  9. You wouldn't be a Petty fan by any chance would you, LOL. Very impressive collection.
  10. Very nice build, love the little details that you have done on it. Did you scratch build the whole rig? What colour red did you use? Would love to build one of these myself to go with my Squad 51...............if I ever finish it
  11. That's why I stopped buying from Bob direct, over charges on postage. Won't buy from SMH for the same reason. When you spent 10k+ on the hobby importing stuff from the U.S. you quickly learn who's ripping you off & who's not.
  12. Good people to deal with, I got their "Eleanor", excellent kit, on par with the Modelhaus. Pity someone has copied their "Eleanor" & passed it off as their own. How do I know this? Because I bought the recast before I got the SP kit (re-released earlier this year) & all the molding marks on the SP kit are exactly the same on the recast version, you can even see where the recaster removed the SP stamp on the inner body, Tisk Tisk.
  13. absolutely beautiful, pity modern cars don't have this class or style
  14. You do very nice work, love these old 50's Mopar's. Is it just me or does the chrome spear on the right front guard run uphill?
  15. I knew Don's line was extensive but not quite that extensive, all those lovely MOPARS. I've got a bunch of R&R resins which I payed monies close to what Don is charging & looking at the quality of Don's products compered to R&R's, I'll quite happily pay the few extra dollars for a far superior product.
  16. Don't know how of missed this, awesome work. How did you make your springs please?
  17. Nice, for some reason I've always liked these cars.
  18. Nice, gives me ideas, never liked those wheels until now.
  19. Sweet, the colour of the interior goes nice with the Burgandy
  20. Not always possible, some casters (Kenny begin one) who won't sell their product O/S because of recasters, so some of us miss out. I would like to purchase Kenny's products & I wouldn't recast them.
  21. Polish out aluminium from drink cans & use a punch like this http://www.micromark.com/micro-punch-set,8603.html to get the size you want, that's how I do mirrors.
  22. Missing Ling has a very nice 70 Charger conversion that you use the 68/9 RM kit as a donor. The ML conversion supplies the hood & body with corrected front guards & valance & chrome grill with Charger & Charger R/T grill insert. Corrected rear taillight panel with chrome Charger & Charger R/T taillights with red resin lenses. R/T Door scoops . Corrected interior door panels, rear seat & front buckets. The rest comes from previous mentioned RM kits. Bit expensive though if you only want to use it fro the F&F Charger.
