  6. very nice looking old ford!
  7. Looks good! Not much of a Chevy fan, (GO MOPAR) but I have always liked the 69 Chevelle. This is a kit I need to put in my stash. I built 3 as a kid and sadly they are long gone. I have aton of man-hours in a 78 Lil Red express I am turing into a Power wagon. scale 8" lift on 37's with lots of scratch building a modifing of parts. I say this because whenever I show my wife it she laughs at me, says "OK" and makes a lil fun of me for playing with my cars! lol! So i can imagine your fiancee's recation when you told her! Keep up the good work!
  8. Has that cool "Sterrt Fighter" look to it! Even if it didn't have the A-Bomb decals! Mean looking!
  9. Paint looks good! 2-tones can be a big pain the the butt!
  10. Looking pretty sweet MIke! Love the Overhaulin" touches! They will go along great with the Wheels and a nice sexy shiny red!
  11. sure the one i have looks like this http://www.worktruck-outfitters.com/images/warn-m8274.jpg all I really need is the rollers on the front, but will take what I can find so I can fab up my front bumper.
  12. Looking for a warn winch now ! grrr! lost the rolloer part this weekend so now fabbing up a front bumper is on the back burner and hoping that this setback doesn't curb this build for awhile! Pics are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PROMISE!
  13. One of my all time favorite model kits! I think that is because it was one of the first models I put togther as a kid ALL BY MYSELF! No help from mt dad or uncle. All me! So it holds a fond place in my heart. I picked up a old red tooling a few years ago off ebay. I have it stashed away for now, butI kitbashed a 32 Ford for the wheels, hubcaps, and tires, and kitbashed a derilict AMT 40 Ford coupe for the taillights and a few other pieces. Hope to get it built soon! Mild Rat Rod truck!
  14. MONTHS!!!!!!! Exactly right depending on the glue and the amount of glue! I have a Dodge 4x4 siting in the purple pond trying to loosen the glue and strip the paint but it has not worked yet. Been siting in the pond for almost 2 months. I need to find something a lil stronger to loosen and strip it. But I have had luck with this method MANy time before. All depends on the glue and the paint.
  15. No pics yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really hoping to get some up SOON!!!!!!!! I fabbed up the front suspension last sunday during the Super Bowl. Got the height I wanted, but it just didn't look quite right to me. Not enough arch in the leaf springs and to "BLOCKED" up. So I started wittleing away at the So Real Checy diecast fron leafs until i got the right fit and look i was going for. I am VERY happy with the look now! front sits a tad higher than the back but all i need to do to solve that is just add a lil material to the rear shackels and get her leveled out. Hoping to get some shocks fabbed up and the start of the steering gear, pitman arm and the rest of the steering linkage. As well as a hydro assist. Really hoping to get some pics posted tomorrow. I really would like some feedback from everyone on this. Kinda hard to do without pics! Sorry everyone!

  20. i still use the good ole Testors glue, as well as Super glue and gel super glue. I also sometimes use Elmers white glue, mostly for headlight lenses. I am looking fo a better glue to glue windows in with though. I had someone tell me a glue to try, but That was a while ago and I can't remember the name of it. If anyone knows of a awesome glue for windows I would love to know about it.
  21. Like, cool man!
