  1. Hoping to get some up tonight or tomorrow. Heading over to my parents to borrow the laptop and do my taxes and then get some pics up! I can't wait to share it and see everyones comments on it!
  2. I agree. A darker color, like Dark Gunmetal, and the door would flow better. Anyway, VERY nice idea and well executed!
  3. Thanks for the tip Roger! I will have to pick some up next time I head to Doller General to look for more of those army toys!
  4. Very Nicely done! opening a door on a diecast! very nice!!! I have the 86 Diplomat patrol car I want to "FULLY" detail. or detail as much as possible. Looking to find a chassis, front suspension, rear suspension, and motor-trans. I want to build a replica South Dakota Highway Patrol car to use with all my other MOPAR models. ANd something a lil more period correct to pull a muscle car over. Crown vic is too new and wrong make for me! lol! I would love to see more of this build and the full detailing you did. Like the motor and chassis.
  5. I like it already!!! Can't wait to see more! I love these old Dodges!!!!!!
  6. No pics yet, but I got the suspension done and the wheels mocked up under her! Scale 37's with about a scale 8" lift. I am really happy with the rear but and a lil dissapointed with the front. I still might make my own leaf sprins for the front. I just modified the kits leaf springs to my liking. Time will tell if I want the font more realistic to what is found on a 1:1 truck. Might be making a trip over to see the parents tonight, so maybe some progress pics!!!!!
  7. VERY COOL!!! Love all the detail!!
  8. Nice chop work so far! Interesting concept!
  9. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. AWESOME!!!!! I am not a Ford guy, GO MOPAR, but I love these 40 Fords! I have this sme kit I am trying build as a weathered Rat Rod. I really like what you did and i hop i can come close to hows yours looks!
  11. No way to load my update pics yet. Hoping to get some uploaded soon though. Next trip over to my parents I will have to borrow the laptop! Man I NEED to get mine fixed!!! Anyway I have had some progress with the LRE turned Power Wagon. Most notablly I finally found some tires that fit the build scheme better. Scale 37"!!!!! Off a Army toy from Dollar General. Now I can get to making the suspension!!!!!! I had to tweek some stuff on the frame for the 440/727 combo to fit and to get the t-case (which I sourced from a So REal Diecast chevy truck) tucked up as nicely as it could. No more divorced t-case!!! I have thought about trying my hand a resin casting some of the parts I am collecting for this build as it would make future builds easier. We will see! Going to be using the stock 4x4 axles from the "Firefighter" kit and not the spare set of Rockwells I had planned on using. REMEMBER EVERYONE, THE TRUCK PICTURED IS NOT THE ONE THATS GETTING ALL THIS WORK DONE TO!!! It's just the only pic i had of them to post at the time. That one is pretty much just getting a rebuild. If I can ever find anyting to strip the stubborn paint off it! Anyway just wanted to throw a update out!
  12. I LIKE IT! My wifes gives me ###### all the time about "playing with my cars" as she puts it. I have a 70 Challenger I thought of painting pick and building it as her car. lol! Nice job!

  19. This is one of the nicest built Chargers I have seen! And to do it from those old photos is amazing! I have a 68 Roadrunner I am converting to look like a 68 GTX my dad had, and all I have to go by is 2 crummy pics like the ones you have. Most of my build will be done from memory.
