  1. that's why you come to a good Mag and trust them to tickle your funny bone, usually on time!! lol
  2. yeah, in the beginning, but, when thay found that they had to run with the Chaparral's and Lola's, they freaked...big tires and disc's...the front ends were way to light and would lift at speed!! oh, and those wheels/tires were all i had!! TransAm pkg from Perry's Resin with AMT stockcar slicks... the rotor hat was also the mount so that worked out also!!

ModelHaus has the basicly the same kit, i have both, built the Mini Exotics, mine's yellow... the Modelhaus kit has the front valance already on the body where the MiniExotics kit doesn't, i wasn'y real happy with the fit of the valance on mine... i've got a BUNCH of 'Chettahs always win' decals, they'd look great under the Pure decals, gimme yer addy and i mail ya some...

  8. this is timed right for me to!! i've had this Flintstone body for a while, long while...thought i'd 'work on it'... lol PartsPack Caddy... using the donor 25T switchers kit for chassis and running gear..BigDonkey resin rear wheel/tires, 32 Ford outer front wires with 25T kit innards...gonna use some scale ducting[painted silver] for the exhaust... getting the look.... may take a little longer to finish, i came downstairs today and this is what i found on my bench!!!
  9. i've found that PlastiCoat white sandable primer actually dries on rubber and ya don't need that much...

  20. KUDOS Jerry...if we had rep points i'd give ya some!! my 1st car was brush painted, EVERYTHING, chrome trim, everything!! lol but, I was PROUD of that car!!

  23. ^^^what they said!!! ya know, i save the 'shavings' from when i 'dress' the tire treads, this is perfect scale for the bits of rubber junk stuff...
  24. Tamiya kits go together very well... just follow the numbers for assembly...take your time, it's not a race, breathe, and, have FUN!!!
