  1. sounds like the enamel wasn't completly dry yet...i always 'smell' the bodys to see if they are 'dry'.. if you can smell ANY solvents, it's not dry yet... Testors enamels, for me, usually take a week or so before no solvent smell...IJS...

  8. nicely done... i'm working on a narrowed Vega modified, #3, in a what if he grew up a couple states north kinda thing, pavement car, big/wide 'steamroller' tires...
  9. oooooohhh.... i love Cheetah's...built the same kit, mines yella...you put a motor in yours, nice... dood...i have extra 'Cheetahs always win' decals i can send ya if ya want...go perfect below the Pure decal...

  13. i believe they have to use the steel roof of whatever MFG they use...everything else is piecemeal...the fenders are 3-4 pieces...

  17. thata came out nice... i built one of those to...used one of the 1st aftermarket decal sets that i got at the '92 Atlanta spring race..also got Jeff Gordon's 1st Dupont decals there... i did the 'underbird' on the front of mine...

  21. yeah, whatever floats yer boat!!! and as Dave said, you are a rule breaker anyway!!! but, i do 'trim' whatever decals i use to make them look more like 'die cut'....oh, and never clear over the decals, these are usually just vynl, not real shiny, but... the older sheets usually had a bunch of clear carrier to be trimed or it would curl up on the car...
