  1. That shifter boot is a real nice touch. As well as the luggage rack. You never cease to amaze!
  2. They were nothing but Furys with Road Runner badging. It was a one year only deal... after that, Road Runners were re-badged Volares until the bitter end (1980?).
  3. I just don't have the time management skills (or the patience) to keep tabs on auctions and check in as they're ending. Really couldn't care less. For me, BIN or best offer. That's it. And I've done just fine. Just look at my "Under Glass" posts for the proof!
  4. That's all too much work. That's why I only deal with BIN or "best offer" items.
  5. Have not seen that, but bald eagles have come back from the brink of extinction. Today they are doing just fine, thanks to laws that protect them. What kind of country would we be if our national symbol didn't exist?
  6. Just because a product is featured in the "New Products" pages doesn't mean it's a specific version of a real product! I mean, come on... if a kit manufacturer came out with a new kit of a "flying Monkeemobile," does that necessarily mean there is a real flying Monkeemobile? Of course not! We feature new products in the model car world. There is no guarantee that any featured product has any connection to reality.
  7. You clamp the parts together (say, engine block, for example)... and you run the liquid glue along the seam. No glue "squeeze out," no glue "strings,"... liquid glue doesn't just glue the parts together, it fuses the parts together by literally melting the styrene. Best, strongest, cleanest bond.
  8. It's tough to beat the sniping software. I've given up on bidding completely... I only deal with BIN or "best offer" items.
  9. Too true. And so many people don't even realize that this site isn't free. Yeah, it's free to them. But somebody is paying for it so that it's free to them.
  10. We have an "All the Rest" area to post airplanes... boats... tractors... pretty much anything,
  11. Thanks, Sean! Tim has been writing "Trucker's Corner" for years. Thanks.
  12. Ray, I like your color scheme. Nice!
  13. I wish we had a thousand more Ginos here!
  14. Ooooooooooooohhhhhhh....
  15. Thank you, Gino! Or I guess I could say "grazie!"
  16. Well obviously we don't. So how about you let us in on it?
  17. Now that's pretty cool!
  18. Who is Virgil?
  19. I couldn't agree more. You people who are using this board for free, that's fine... we supply it to you for free and we don't expect anything in return. It's done for you, no conditions attached. But providing you guys with this site is not free. There is a cost involved on our end. To anyone who doesn't subscribe to the magazine... realize that magazine subscriptions are in part what pays for this site! Please consider subscribing. It would be greatly appreciated, and would help to ensure that MCM and this forum will be around for a long time to come. Thanks. BTW: This is my own personal opinion, Gregg had nothing to do with it. It's strictly my personal post.
  20. Yes, I think that one may have been his third or fourth. Edit: I looked it up, it was actually just the second movie he ever directed (first was "Play Misty for Me").
  21. Yes.
  22. Clint Eastwood didn't direct that movie.
  23. Also High Plains Drifter.
