  1. Hey Ray... how the heck are you? Long time no talk to...
  2. I once read that he did his own stunts, and that scene was not faked. True? Edit: I looked it up. The scene was faked, but how it was actually done was still very dangerous. https://silentlocations.wordpress.com/2012/02/29/how-harold-lloyd-filmed-safety-last/
  3. Yeah, I knew there was something going on there. I remember all of the silly explanations people posted here in the original "Deflate-Gate" thread... all about the weather deflating the balls–but somehow not affecting the other team's balls... , etc. All kinds of silly excuses and explanations from people who couldn't believe that the Patriots cheated. Now it's official.
  4. That's what I don't get. If the trim and door handles are foiled, why does it look like it's all painted white like the rest of the car? Wouldn't you see the shine of the foil trim, even with the weathering? Since I didn't see any evidence of foil, I figured there wasn't any. Oh well... not important.
  5. I don't get it. I don't see any foil, it all looks the same as the rest of the car.
  6. Who is that in your avatar?
  7. It's all over now. But obviously you got the right song... one of my all-time favorite Stones tunes...
  8. I'm talking about that side spear trim, the door handles. etc.
  9. A Hudson PU doesn't look like it would be hard to scratchbuild. It looks like they just took a stock body and added the PU bed. Looks to me like some simple cutting on the body and a few pieces of sheet styrene, and there ya go.
  10. The photos are good enough to see that you have one beautiful model there!
  11. "Well, baby used to stay out all night long. She made me cry, she done me wrong"...
  12. Never heard of the series, but that's some very nice modeling work!
  13. Nice work so far! Very convincing. Once you get it painted and weathered/rusted, it should be very cool...
  14. Chuck, describe for the members how you mastered it. Did you start with an existing part? A hunk of raw styrene?
  15. Did someone say Cadillac?
  16. I have never seen better, more realistic rusting. Amazing! Dr. Cranky would be proud of this!
  17. Looks cool, but I wouldn't have just painted all that side trim. Also, wheel covers need some dirtying up!
  18. I'm getting there...
  19. Remember, don't post any hints or answers here. PM me with year, make, and model. The answer: 1922 Gray-Dort Special
  20. You underestimate yourself.
  21. I thought men went to a barber, women went to a salon...
  22. Thanks, Tim. My next project is going to be a 1/16 Entex RR Phantom III that I will be turning into a woody. Basically a scratchbuilt body from the cowl back, using real wood. I have the kit... I have the reference photos... I hope to start on it next week, and I'll be doing a full-blown WIP thread. Stay tuned...
  23. Back when SAE was doing their annual "most wanted" list, Hudson would appear on the list more often than not, year after year. So no surprise at all that the Moebius Hudsons are popular; builders had been asking for one for ages. BTW... it's who would have thought... not who would of thought. Who would of thought makes no sense. Your free Grammar 101 lesson for the day...
